Re: Upgraded V2 automagic calibration question.
Holy crap. SD card corrupted. Put a new on in, and it was formatted fat32, didn't realize that. Reformatted fat, calibration runs now. Effector platform still not running level at the tap points though. [img]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/BhXTLMD4NYHrLokIZX67UJ7z9e2_gNdjjDva3nBQFnLuL9XBTB-yQbd-dv...

Re: Upgraded V2 automagic calibration question.
The HE280. Controller is the standard Rambo, not sure which version. Now that I've watched it a few times, I think it's the flying extruder I added. Pulling too much on the hot end.

Upgraded V2 automagic calibration question.
Hey guys, I have one of those fancy pants boards on the hot end so it does the tappity-tap-tap auto calibration. When it's doing this, shouldn't the effector platform stay parallel to the bed?

There's an upgrade guide on seeme's site for the board. I'm running it with a V6 hot end.

Hot end connection bounces between 11.55vdc and 9.25vdc while printing. From the power supply I'm getting 12.31vdc.

Hot end questions
Do thermistors and heater cartridges slowly go bad, or just all at once? In the last month or so, I've had problems keeping temperature. Yesterday I had two prints quit because it couldn't keep up. Printing with an e3d v2, .4mm nozzle, 50mm/s perimeters, 55mm/s infill. All this is wired through seem...

Make sure the red wire points to the left as you look at the back of the screen. Sometimes the connector gets put on backwards.

I think Gene started one to convert to a plasma cutter, but he hasn't posted over there in a while. That's the problem with too many hobbies.

Hi. Nothing worse than a gassy printer. I had an issue similar to yours. What you need to do is get some beano drops and pour them down the bowden tube. The entire bottle. It's amazing how well it works. Hahahahahaha! Sorry Joe, but ...
