If you have not, you need to select the SeeMeCNC HE280 hot end in firmware.
I would also do a PID autotune.
If you have a meter with temperature probe, check the actual temperature at nozzle vs. reported by LCD on machine.

I really like the simple belt attachment on the new carriages Brian, bravo1
I have been trying different things for almost a year, but was never satisfied with anything.
Until one day recently I had a "Ah ha" moment... this design I am pleased with.

On my v2 I used the new pre-made harness to platform and spliced into existing wiring up top, then was able to re-arrange existing wires down at rambo. I used a wiring block up top from Yellow Jacket Concepts to make it super easy... www.themakerhive.com/shop/viewitem.php?productid=25 No soldering r...

Yes, push pull.
I also only use one mounting screw, then rotate fan down about 10 degrees to direct more air flow over the bottom fin

Finally got the probe board mounted up with a Prometheus hot end.
The probing works well, I am impressed.
Sure is quick and easy to swap heads back and forth from stock to Prometheus, thanks to the ball joints, plug on board and auto calibrate

Re: The new accl probing board with e3d v6
the lock ring mount holes do not line up with holes on board, the probe board has 3 holes that match spacing of standoff holes on platform (50mm dia. circle, 3 holes equally spaced.) So that would be the mounting points. The platform standoff spacing has been the same since V1. So that means probe b...
