Re: Ninjastruder

I lied when I said that was my last post ;) . Posted this Gear Upgrade for the NinjaStruder on thingiverse. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1785884.
It smooths out retraction stalling when printing at higher speed.

I'm not much of a cat person either but the model is a good challenging print with overhangs and nice smooth rounded shapes.

Re: GeckoTek

Oh wow, that's sad. From everyone being so excited when it first started getting whispered about, to this level of derision and scorn. Didn't intend to be scornful. Just thought is was good use of a nice flat precut piece of steel. That's mean! :P . But is the Gecko really that bad? It lasted about...

Found a new way to use my Geckotek plate from the Kickstarter campaign. I attached/taped on some PEI and it works great now

You should sit your wife down and have a serious conversation. For the sake of all 3D printing enthusiasts.

Nice project btw!

Re: Spiral vase mode not yielding continuous extrusion path

Thanks for the replies, Downloaded Slic3r last night and it produced a helical path no problem. It took a little tinkering to get a suitable retraction interval in order to avoid wedging the filament in the tube but am now happily spiraling away with NinjaFlex at a heady 10mm/s. 10mm/s takes a long...

Re: ERIS Early adopter feedback

I would have thought being they would have had all the bugs out. This has been on the drawing board for over a year and is supposed be truly RTP™ (ready-to-print) 3D printer. Seems not quite ready for the masses who know nothing of 3d printing. Joe Couchpotato will not know how to do a real extruder...
