He already has mounting for both the stock bard and the Duet. At least he did on my V3 kit.

Re: Coming soon from 713Maker.com

Unpacked my bling from Detroit MakerFaire and shot it with a couple of coats of clear coat after wiping it down with Acetone first. Hoping to start on my customized Max V3 this week. Want to give the clear coat a chance to cure 24 to 48 hours before starting assembly. I also have to figure out how t...

Re: Coming soon from 713Maker.com

He was there and I was able to pickup a V3 kit. I need to set aside some time to clear coat the parts. The finish picks up fingerprints something fierce if you don't clear coat it as recommended.

Re: Piezo disk bed leveling

I think I'll look into the effector mount option instead. It seems to be the most supported and I can avoid a long Bowden tube by mounting a flying extruder which seems to work well in my other delta printer that has a BL-Touch setup.

Re: Coming soon from 713Maker.com

What's the anticipated price for a V3 kit and when can I order one?

I'll drive to Detroit if I can get my hands on one there ;-)

I saw the early work at MRRF and have been lusting for this upgrade ever since.

Re: Piezo disk bed leveling

I'm building a V3 now with the trick laser FSR adapter plate. is there a simple way to use the underbed solution with that? With the FSR setup you attach them to the bottom plate put the rubber washer on top and use some silicone adhesive to glue the whole stack together. I'm not sure what I'd need ...

Re: OctoPrint Plugin!

So my summary of the discussion.

In OctoPrint terminal
- G28 ; home
- G29 ; firmware calibration
- G28 ; home

Switch to OctoPrint plug-in
- load eeprom
- run calibration
- repeat both steps until converged

Correct?

Look in the scripts tab. There is an entry for the start of a print and one for the end of a print among other things.

Thanks for the OctoPi summary. At some point I need to set that up also. Right now I'm still under construction but once I button it up I'll need to work through the OctoPi.

SeeMeCNC modifys the Repetier firmware to accept the accelerometer probe. The board is physically the same, your replacement will work just fine as long as you put all the cables back in the same places and then install the firmware from SeeMeCNC which is not hard at all as long as you follow that f...
