Re: KISSlicer and Cura with LinuxCNC
I know that, but it is not really enough to understand how it works. I would never buy a piece of software that didn't have a proper manual.

But do you use it with Linux CNC? KisSlicer uses some M codes that LinuxCNC do not understand.

Re: Recomended amps rating for Phebe
You should expect up to 10A@12V or 5A@24V when it is cold. When it gets heated the current will drop due to the increased resistance in the cobber tracks. If you want a sepperare PSU for the heatbed, and maybe the extruder too, I would recommend to look for a 24V supply.

Re: EMC2 Configuration for H1?
I just made a fast and dirty modification so all the steppers will be enabled with the "Amplifer" output from CNC2. Only pin 2 is now in use - the other two enable pins can be ignored. Now all the steppers is turned on and off with the "power button" in CNC2 - even the easydriver...

If you measure the resistance from one loop to another it should show infinite on the meter when the board is not connected.

Re: Phebe is HOT!
I have found that the location of the thermistor is not optimal, the temperature difference between the center of the bed, edge of the bed (white lined box) and thermistor location varies to greatly, up to 70C. I have 'moved' the thermistor to be on the edge of the glass plate, its a closer reading...

Connecting Parallel board to USB
Have anyone tried using a USB to LPT cable to connect the parallel board to the USB port? It has to be one with a driver for Linux so I can use it with CNC2.

You can have 6 layers of the sheet x 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" without compressing it and I guess you can compress it a bit? How wide is the role?

I mean wrapping it around the extruder barrel to minimize the heat radiation and keep the temperature stabile.Leeway wrote:Not sure how you mean to use it.
It can be used as a gasket. This stuff is basically like a sheet of cotton, but much denser. Feels pretty heavy for what it is.

ALeander, There is space for a 1k Resistor and a LED of your choice, both leaded. I made it for LM35, TMP35, TMP36, TMP37 or DS18B20. Last one is digital. But you can use any NTC / PTC. Only important thing is that you make a good thermal connection to the tracks running under the sensor. You can us...
