Rostock Max v2 FS $800
I am selling my SeeMeCNC Rostock Max v2. I have had it for a year now. I have since replaced the heat bed with version 5. the LCD has been replaced, replaced all the axles and ujoints. I have printed about 2 pounds of ABS. I bought it for a project and was quickly over my head with 3D printing. Wide...

Re: Home towers just moved head down slightly
I would do further research on the forum about Home issues. I just had the same issue and I ended up clearing the EEPROM and reflashing it. This worked immediately. However, if you look at my posts I ask many more questions then any I have correctly answered. Hope you find the solution. This thread ...

Warning Moving to Low
I am trying to use the auto calibrate and I get the warning that Warning Moving Too Low You cannot move any lower. This position on your bed is too low for the extruder to reach. You need to raise your bed or adjust your limits to allow the extruder to go lower. I never had an issue before what coul...

Pirate ship Woes
The Pirate Radio Ship design is almost there. I am having trouble with the Masts. The original designer put the skull and radio station call sign letters facing the wrong way. Can I some how in NetFabb cut them out and flip them around. Looking for an easy solution I can do myself. Any help is most ...

Re: Lid Fail ABS
This is indeed the ongoing Pirate Radio 3D Print project from April. It has been an ongoing saga. I am trying to fulfill these 35 perks for an Indiegogo campaign. When I am actually printing viable pirate ships I am going to do a nice long write up about my experience it has been interesting and edu...

Lid Fail ABS
I am not sure why this is failing. It is the lid to a box. The printer starts with a nice grid but it is suppose to be flat instead it does this crazy mesh.
What has to be changed? I imagine something in the STL file itself? Attached is also the STL file. Thanks- Wed Oct 22, 2014 1:48 am

Re: Size Problem
I know I can scale it up or down but the print was made to certain measured specs why is it showing up so big in Repetier. Changing the scale would just be a guessing game. Is there an option to go from inches to mm or something?

Size Problem
When I load the stl files in Repetier my print a Pirate Ship is bigger than the printer bed and will not print it because the pirate ship is bigger then the print area of my printer. The size /scale is on 1. I am not sure what is going on.

Re: Printer unused for awhile one Cheapskate slips
This is what happens no matter the print..
http://youtu.be/rAmJXKlAbf8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The one cheapskate seems to slip when it comes far down.
What could be the cause? How do I troubleshoot this? And fix it?
Much thanks for any help!

Printer unused for awhile one Cheapskate slips
Sadly, my Pirate Ship Radio 3-D Print Project has had many delays. So my Rostock Max v2 has sat idle for months now. I started it up today and tried to print but one of the Cheapskates when it goes down to print it plummets down and stays there. I assume that over time a delta printer unused isn't h...

Filament stuck?
I am trying to change filament on my Rostock Max v2 however the filament has gone down the tube beyond the extruder wheel.. I took off the gold nub push fit that screws into the stepper motor there. But I cant pull the filament out that way it seems and I cant take the gold nub push fit off the plas...

Re: Changing position on heat bed
I tried doing it in NetFab before I posted my question. I dont understand because when I try it in Repetier and netFabb (basic) I can't get it on the side I want it. The object is in a box and it wont reorientate the box so the long neck will sit flat on the print bed. I also can't seem to do a free...

Changing position on heat bed
I am trying to change this print so the long neck lays on the print/heat bed to save on the need for support material. I don't understand how to do it. I am trying to rotate it but I can never get it there. Can someone assist and walk me through it. I would actually love to print this out through Ma...

Re: At wit's end trying to calibrate radius
Ok please don't mock me its 3:03 am and my Rostock Max V2 is almost done I am following the instructions to calibrate radius but for the life of me where are the end stop adjustment screws located that I need to adjust? Are they called something else earlier in the manual? Is it just really late and...

I was using Purple Disappearing Elmer's Glue. Hairspray is better? Could I spray it on the print itself from layer to layer if I was to stick with ABS?

Re: Heated bed cannot reach temp
Rev3 bed on the RoMAX v2
Takes a long time to reach 90 degrees enclosed and with the pot lid on. Once the lid is removed it plummets down to 80 degrees and never climbs again.
Waiting on support's response.

What is causing these prints to fail like this?
I have a Rostock Max v2.. ABS and OSX its not 100% yet.. awaiting a new LCD, cables, and LCD interface Also the heat bed wont go to 90 degrees without a pot lid and some makeshift enclosure, once I remove the pot lid the heat bed drops down to 80 degrees for the remainder of the print job. Is that w...

Re: Heated bed cannot reach temp
I am having the same problem. It is going into almost an hour now to try and reach 90 degrees. I ended up taking poster board and encircling the whole printer for a make shift enclosure. That gets it up to 90 degrees only slightly faster. Windows are closed.. I have the v3 bed also

Using dev tty usbmodem1421
Checked the cables
Checked the solder especially on the LCD interface board
Put in an email to support waiting to hear back from them.
