Hi folks, I have the same problem now. I have 20,000 feet extruded and now the head won;t zero out.
How do I change the EEPROM_MODE and where do I find it? I went into Firmware EEprom Settings, but can;t find any mode to change.
Thanks!!

Re: Can't get holes right
Repetier slicer. I don't think I can change any overlap settings.
I will level the bed tonight and maybe change the filament thickness to 1.72 to see if that pushes more filament?

Re: Can't get holes right
Man, the iphone 6 has a great camera. By eye, it seems the lines are tight and connected. By the picture though, they are spread apart pretty far.
Too close to the bed or too far? Not enough filament, etc?

Can't get holes right
Alright folks, I have been printing with my Delta Orion for about a year now and love the machine. I just can never get holes to close up if they are on the bed. The first layer just never seems to make a decent hole. I have been cheating by desiging my stuff without hols on the glass side. I am try...

I was thinking more of this one:
Build Area
Maximum Printable X/Y Area 6" Diameter (150mm)
Maximum Printable Square Size 4 1/8"" (106mm)
Maximum Printable Z Height 9 1/4" (235mm)

Re: Can the RMAX V2 do a nozzle prime/wipe at start of print
I did a few things to eliminate the wipe needed. Heat the bed before you heat the nozzle. Add a twice around skirt. That seems to give me great first layers.

Orion Consumer specs for bed size
I think you should add a few more maximum bed sizes for the literature. I constantly hear that an Orion can only do a 4.25" square maximum. No one thinks about the rectangle size, so i think you are losing some customers. I think you should add a few: 1) 4.25 x 4.25 square 2) 4.0 x 6.0 rectangl...

Nozzle differences
How do I tell the difference between a .5 diamter nozzle and a .7 diameter nozzle? I ordered one of each and can;t tell them apart. I don;t want to wait to go to work and use a pin gage. Is there an easy household way to tell? I noticed the hex shoulder width is slightly different, is that a design ...

Re: Canola Convert
Hi mhackney, I would prefer to do the retraction correctly, but haven;t figured it out yet. I'm getting tired of cleaning my parts afterwards. Can you give me the Slic3r settings you use?
Length 1.5
Lift Z ??
Speed 20 mm/s
Extra length on restart ??
Minimum travel after retraction ??

Re: Canola Convert
I have been having problems down here in Phoenix for the last 10 days. Its been very cold, in the 30-40 range, and I thought that was the problem. Jams all the time and just not able to get parts out. I tried the Canola oil yesterday and have been printing for the last 24 hours straight with no prob...

I was looking for something interesting to print over the Holidays, and decided to make a tribute car to one of my favorite shows, Fast and Loud, GasMonkeyGarage. [img]http://www.redcatrampageforum.com/att...
