Thanks for the reply. I do have the old arms w/ metal axles, circa early 2014. I went ahead and ordered the arm kit and injection molded skates. I can see the hot end and effector tilting when making contact during bed leveling. The effect is worse the further from center the point is. I looked at ...

Upgrading V2, calibration cube problems
I'm in the process of tuning and upgrading my V2. The print quality has always been kind of "meh", but I'd like to change that. I upgraded to a duet2 and it runs the dc42 firmware 2.05. Installed FSRs and bed leveling seems repeatable... here are the params in config.g M665 R128.832 L269 B140 H391.3 ...

thanks. so it sounds like the dial indicator calibration doesn't buy much over the procedure in the manual? I definitely have the problem of Z = 0 being > 0 towards the OD of the bed. Is there a consensus about how to chase down the contributors to this problem (bed level, columns square ...
