I currently have the carbon fiber arms, I wonder if that kit would work with it?

Flat Spot on wheel
One of my carriages developed a flat spot on one of its wheels. SeeMeCNC wants $32 for a new set. Is there any way to get the flat spot out of the wheel aside from replacing them?

Reflashing the smoothieboard with latest edge fixed the problem. I have some 3" open cell foam coming in the mail, will update then. If any of you guys want examples of stuff being cut let me know / mail me something.

Re: L-Cheapo Laser
Received my L'Cheapo laser a few days ago and have had a chance to use it a few times. Shipping was lightning fast from 3D Supply Source. I was disappointed that for $200 it had through hole components. The laser itself is press fitted into a heatsink not designed for this purpose. You can see where...

Making your own regular traxxas arms is easy: https://mattlapaglia.com/?p=330" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Might want to give it a shot, I did it on my first try without any issues.

Re: Homes correctly, but Z axis messes up when printing
I just swapped the smoothieboard with another one that randomly has issues with turning off, all the axis started functioning normally (except when the board freezes). I used the same sd card on both, so they are both running the same config. I believe this defines it as a hardware problem. sigh, ti...

Re: Homes correctly, but Z axis messes up when printing
When switching the beta and gamma steppers and end stop the problem started happening on the beta tower. It looks like it could be an issue with the stepper driver on the board. I've got a few spares I could swap out the SMD with a different one. This setup came from a rostock max, i wonder why my m...

Re: "Home Towers" only resets 2 of 3 towers... sometimes.
Make sure the endstop wires are isolated from all other wires on the printer, they could be introducing enough noise on the wire to make the printer think the endstop has been triggered prematurely.
