Re: PTFE for thermistor
Thanks, I have the old hot end on my h1 and wanted to clean it up. Having the RTV works but looks so sloppy.

So I am biting the bullet and doing a rostock. Ordered the ramps kit, mega 2560 and I have drivers so that part is heading in the right direction. I have motors and pretty much everything else and am having the frame cut out on a friends CNC wood router. So, questions: T-slot vs round stock? I have ...

Re: 3mm nozzle
Hi, Yes it did, but you said it would work so I tried. I am looking around to see if I can get one made since I have an almost full spool of 3mm. To be honest it is just frustrating trying to make things work. I ordered my H1 the day before they released the h1.1, and it hasn't been a pleasant exper...

Re: 3mm nozzle
I received the nozzle and finally got a chance to check it out. It will not work with my hot end. The center is much too small for the filament to go through. Approximately 1cm down the diameter looks to be 1.75mm. So the new nozzles don't work with the old hot ends. Please don't order them unless y...

Repetier Host vs Mach3
Hi, I am using Mach3 with my H-1, but was wondering if I may want to switch to Repetier Host for control? The newer printers/controllers all seem to be arduino based and if I do decide to build a delta printer in the future I will need to change. Will it work since I am using a parallel TB6560 based...

Infill calibration for h-1/slic3r
When I am printing the 20mm box for infill it starts out ok, but after a couple of mm it starts to bulge on all four sides. I have the infill setting at .4. I have a 40mm fan pointing at the top of the extruder and two 20mm fans pointing at the PEEK pulling the heat off. I used to have clogs on ever...

Those are pretty neat. I may see if I can find some stainless tube to try out. I found some smaller fans as well so maybe one front and one back?

I had a friend help me out with a design I wanted to try. I kept having problems with the filament getting too hot and not feeding. So we are trying something just a bit different. 2013-03-05 15.24.16.jpg 2013-03-05 15.27.49.jpg I still need a new nozzle but I hope this makes it easier to keep it co...

Hot end thread size
Hi, I haven't been able to find anythig using the search so I am asking. What thread size is used for the older H-1 printer nozzles? I have had several hot end/extruter issues and finally gave up on my printer and almost sold it. I talked to a friend and he is going to help me make a new design that...
