Re: Hi From Jax Florida
OK. Next up. Where do I get the parts? You build a machine shop filled with 250,000 dollars worth of equipment, you then spend several hundred hours designing the parts, you mill the parts and after spending another $50,000 on needed materials and other parts you can have a PARTDADDY Delta. I forgo...

Just a complete WAG, as I don't remember what's gone before, so YMMV.
Have you swapped locations of stepper motors at all? As the slew is always the same vector, is there any chance that you simply have an underperforming stepper motor at one axis?

I have a GeckoTek plate on the way, custom sized for RoMAXv2. Early print videos look impressive, from ABS to nylon, with no additives needed for adhesion or warp prevention (even the nylon sticks!) Will give what feedback I can once it's in-hand. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/geckotek3d/geck...

Replace water with acid. Another one of those teaching-through-experience things. You don't really mean that! I feel I know you well enough that you would not abuse an animal and are just joking. I agree with Jim, just close the door. According to Ambrose Bearce's "Devil's Dictionary": CA...

Are you using an SCT, or a Dobsonian/Newtonian reflector? If an SCT (or derivative) I can recommend some things to take it way beyond that notch )

Run the free version of Malware Bytes. If there's a bad actor in your system, it'll find it. g. Down loaded and running, looks like its going to take some time..... Re: Dimensional accuracy: part design or slicer/printer setu
I got that, what I don't get is why anyone would spec a 1/2 inch hole for a 1/2 inch part to fit into (or through). In just about any assembly operation the goes_in_ta parts will sometimes be "fat" and where they go will sometimes be TIGHT, hence there are tolerances on clearances - unles...

Just check out any trimmer line in the gardening section of your local store. It's cheaper than ABS or PLA and WAY stronger. Once you see how easy it is to print and how much it can bend before showing any stress, you will love the stuff. I'm developing a special type of nozzle for microprinting wi...

It might be worth spending some time with Autodesk's MeshMixer in order to isolate printing issues. As well, you can define your own support structures and find what works best. It is available for free at http://www.123dapp.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
