Rostock MAX v2 for sale with a small upgrade for leveling

I have a Rostock MAX v2 3d printer for sale with an upgrade attached. The printer has been used very little and works great .I replaced the original spacers under the heated-bed, that are used to level the printer, with four rubber spacers, and I took out two of the leveling screws to make it a four p...

Re: Extruder not working (fixed)

Surprise everyone, I solved my own problem!I simply solved it by reflashing the firmware, and voila, the extruder is back up and running. Thanks everyone for helping me,and other people who might have this problem ;) .

Re: Extruder not working

Sorry its taken a few days to answer your questions, Earthbound.I don't know what "alternate" stepper motors are,so I don't think I have them.I haven't recently uploaded the firmware, but do you think reflashing the firmware might work?

Re: Extruder not working

Thanks for the help on my second problem.I checked it right after I read the post, and sure enough it was back to zero.Unfortunately I still haven't figured out why the extruder isn't working.I would appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Re: Extruder not working

When I figured out the extruder wasn't working, I was doing a print. So the hot-end was up to temp.I now have an add on question.I tried looking at other settings on the LCD screen.I came across Stepper Inactive in General inside advanced settings.I played around with the numbers, ,and now I can't ge...

Extruder not working

I am having a big problem right now, my extruder won't work.I can turn it manually, but controlling it from my laptop,or LCD screen doesn't do anything.I looked at the connection on the RAMBo, but nothing was wrong.Another weird thing on the LCD screen. In temperature control it shows, Extruder 0 off...

Re: Horizontal radius doesn't work

Yep I'm using Repetier-Host for EEPROM settings.I'll go check and see if EEPROM somehow got disabled.

Re: Horizontal radius doesn't work

I know the horizontal radius doesn't affect the height.Currently how the horizontal radius is,is that the hot-end is touching the bed along the edges ,but is above the center.I've tried leveling the way the instruction manual recommends.Hope this helps you guys help me.

Horizontal radius doesn't work

I've been having lots of troubles leveling my printer.I leveled my Rostock MAX v2 several months ago,but I could only get it to print small objects.I've recently been releveling again, but now things have gone wrong.Every time I reset the horizontal radius, nothing seems to change.Anyone have any idea...

Re: Lost all control over Max V2

I don't know what causes this problem, but I do know how to fix it hopefully( it seems to work for me).You know how you upload the firmware to the RAMBO?Well you simply use EEPROM_clear first then you upload the firmware again.Hopefully this helps you solve your problem.

Re: A Tale of Two Problems

Thanks guys for the help!To answer Terri1337's question,I do know how to use the horizontal radius setting, but I tend to not use it too much : (mostly because it is so hard to get the exact number, but I will try harder to use it).As for the y-axis I'm still not sure, but I don't think it is affecting...

A Tale of Two Problems

I'm having two problems with my Rostock MAX v2.My first problem is about y-axis.I have recently re-tightened all the cheapskate motion carriages .Now the y-axis is making weird noises when it goes up.My dad is guessing the belt teeth are skipping, but I'm not sure if that is what is going on.My secon...

Re: Impossible print failure?????

I have a few questions about your answers. Is the teeth setting in the firmware EEPROM setting? If so which setting is it?If it isn't in EEPROM then where is it exactly.(sorry if you are overwhelmed, but I'm a beginner)

Re: Impossible print failure?????

I figured out why I couldn't re-upload the firmware.I forgot to mention this when I did my last post, but I was using Arduino software to upload the file. The problem was that I was also connected to Repetier at the same time. That is why I couldn't upload the firmware very easy.I re-uploaded he firmwa...

Re: Impossible print failure?????

Right now I'm trying to reupload the firmware onto my printer. At the moment I'm not sure if it's uploading.Every time I upload the file, after its finished uploading it says Port COM8 is already in use.Try quiting any programs that may be using it. When I looked under it it showed at one spot that sh...

Re: Impossible print failure?????

I'd like to say something about my print problem.I believe it is some kind of software problem.I think the problem is either in the g-code file,or the firmware(not very likely, but still possible).

Re: Impossible print failure?????

I am here to answer the questions you guys have asked me.And to give another update on this subject.I am using PLA.The nozzle is at 200 degrees celcius. The heated-bed is at 60 degrees celcius.I am using Cura because of how easy it is.My printer is a Rostock MAX v2.The reason why I'm not using an SD ...
