Re: Vertical Banding Revisited
Wow. I guess it's time for me to upgrade to a duet board. Pity we can't use the old screen/knob anymore - that knob was handy for calibrating z-height at the start of a print.

Why isn't horizontal radius calibrated this way?
Step 1) Make all corner axis's the same height by calibrating with the end stops. Step 2) Calibrate z-height at center. so z=0 is calibrated at center with the paper between the glass and nozzle. Step 3) Check height at one of the axis. If it's too high and you need to lower the nozzle, decrease hor...

This link is the way most/some? are doing it now. Maybe I'm not tracking what you're asking this early in the morning. http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=5906" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Oh. I was referring to the geneb instruction manual. The flow chart...

Horizontal radius calibration
I just thought of something when tweaking the calibration of my rostock: Why do we need to adjust the endstops? Why not just change the maximum height and then keep measuring until it's "flat" from the center to the 3 edges. Once the endstops are parallel to the bed, i think it might be co...

Re: Easily adjustable belt tensioners for Rostock Max V2???
Just stumbled upon this and I can echo the suggestions to put nut captures on the bottom two pieces so you can tighten from the top instead of using thumbscrews on the bottom. The top nut capture can probably be left intact to give people the option to choose.

Re: Onyx Heated Bed installation guide!
I have a rev 5 onyx. I'm having a problem installing the thermisistor - it doesn't remotely fit into the hole below the larger center hole. Should I try drilling it out? If so, what size bit do I use? Edit: i might have also damaged both of the thermisistor(s) when attempting to fit them into the ho...

Re: Rostock Max V3 - requests, suggestions, etc.
If SeeMeCNC were to add all the niceties that I have read about to the kit the price of the kit would have to increase and the goal is to keep the costs under $1000. If you all want the niceties such as connnectors, special hot ends, etc then buy them when you order the kit. The price point and the...
