Nothing in the firmware has changed and again, it had the same problem using the original thermistor when it did not before. I will have to keep looking for an answer though at this point I'm left without a clue.

I have been using a E3D hot end head for a few months with no problems until recently. The printer is now having problems extruding. I have used a type J thermocouple to check the temperature and its falling quite short. With the target temperature set to 235c the thermocouple is only showing around...

Not sure what happened, but I updated Repetier to 1.0.5, loaded the original STL and after 5+ minutes it sliced OK.

I wasn't expecting a 20 hour pring with a 50% in ilfil and no support....

Layer alignment looks good, IME printers tend to print slightly undersized. You can adjust the X/Y size by changing the delta arm length in the firmware, I increased it slightly I think. Z ought to be spot on because it's direct translation of the belt motion. The detaching could just be not printi...

I should also mention: DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN the screws! You can easily crush the laminate with the nuts. My son did about 10 screws before I noticed it....
I had to disassemble a piece or two and clamp the laminate and repair it with medium thick CA ( superglue).

DUVDEV, The assembly PDF will get you on your way just fine.... The only thing I would have added would be an extra 12 volt power lead pair just like the fan power leads to the hot end so you can power LED lights around the tip. I have also later found out to check that the "receive cache" size under printer settings needs to have a value of 63 ( mine said 127) to avoid check sum errors well into running a print.... See my posts and pics here... http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1115" onclick...

UPDATE
After checking the Receive Cache Size" under printer setting, I found mine was set to 127 and not 63. After making the change, and this change alone, I ran the same part with no errors.....
