Issue with Metal Universal Joints and Axles Rostock 2
Experienced a problem with one of the metal universal joints and the axle on my printer recently and thought I'd share. The metal Universal Joint became locked (and I mean LOCKED) onto the axle rod at the top of my Y tower skate causing all kinds of printing and calibration issues with my Rostock 2 ...

Plexiglass Enclosure for Rostock 2 -- Any Suggestions?
I would like to be able to install plexiglass / acrylic walls and a hinged door around my Rostock Max 2 machine as an enclosure and I "thought" there were some printable clips/brackets that someone had designed to install such a thing but I can't seem to find them. Was I imagining things? ...

Re: December 2014 Contest
You work the puzzle to close it. It's easier because you can SEE the path to close it. Not so when you're opening it.

Re: December 2014 Contest
I made these as stocking stuffers for the kids. It's a labyrinth maze puzzle container. I printed the inner tube section using Green ABS and the outer tube using red ABS. I'll hide some $$ inside and then have fun watching them try to solve the puzzle to get to the gift inside. They are printed with...

Re: October 2014 Contest ! ! !
These are some shots of the Maleficent horns I'm making for a Halloween costume. The horns were printed in 6 separate pieces and then assembled. I then covered them in Worbla for the texture effect and will add paint and leather for the final finish. The design was created by Clay Cardwell (mrclaybo...

2nd Rostock Build - Omaha, NE !
My friend and I started a new Rostock Max 2 build yesterday. This machine will be going to a local high school science classroom. We started the build at 10 am and by 8 pm all that's left to do is wire the RAMBO and install the LCD and we'll be ready for calibrating. It really DOES get easier the mo...

Re: Having Trouble With Slic3r/Repetier
Ok, they released 1.0.4 of Repetier and I downloaded and installed it. The error no longer appears (apparently they fixed "something") and (bonus!) I have the new super cool interface. I really like the "Lay Flat" option button under the rotate menu as well. It has helped immense...
