My issues and fixes when changing to DuetWIFI w/FSR
First off, Thank You for all the information on converting to the Duet Wifi controller board on the Rostock Max printers. I was making use of all the information here to get my Black Max converted over this weekend. Problem one: The FSR LED lights on the adaptor board worked when I pressed on the he...

Re: Black MAX
Buying a Bondtech QR is the quickest solution, but costly. I have access to a full shop, lathe and mill, torches for heat treating. As the picture of my top board shows, laser cutting also. I think the geared stepper with dual gear extrusion is the way to go, and I have four extruders to make so far...

Re: Enclosure build to print ABS and Nylon bigger and faster
Not using the wedges will save you a step in the future if you add more wires; I had to modify my wedges with a hole so I can run additional wires up the cheapskate channel slots for a second hotend and stepper motor cables for dual head printing. I am using plastic banding strips from packages to c...

I noticed that the link above to Michael Weinberg's blog is the same guy that has a paper written on this subject. It was part of a petitioned to the supreme court recently for a ruling for copy rights and includes 3D printed rights. After reflecting on this I know I have used numerous parts found o...

I did read one of their responses stating ebay will not allow posting links. I saw someone create just3dprinted login and post the same item with crediting where the file came from and who created it. They go on to bash just3dprint for not following the practice and list the part for $.99

I had the Peek fan cool the hotend while printing, so I now wrap F4 tape on the hotend. You could use kapton tape also.
