Well..... What a shame :(

Carl was a lot like me, was in the service, disease ridden and just a really nice guy. I really did take some time out for him and he understood the battles that we were both fighting with these terrible diseases. RIP Carl....

Re: Buckethead - Rostock Max V2 to V3

Nice job with ALL the mods :)

I am about to do the Duet and the Panel Due... I have a Teensy and will be getting a Trinket to do the 12c switching, which one is better... Apparently the Teensy allows you to change the accelerator settings so I may have to go with that?

Changing Filament? My method for changing the filament colour is to snip the existing colour off just above the extruder entry and pre-heat the hot end to approx 200 degrees and then manually feed the filament until the extruder runs out. Using a spanner of the correct size undo the bowden fitting f...

Re: Enclosure for 7" Panel Due

It suits what I have in mind as well...

Looks like it must have the pcb mounted with a extension cable or maybe it is off-center... there must be a cover that goes on the front of it?

Did you change the define Z_PROBE_SPEED 60 to 90?

Mine kept screwing up with auto level before I changed it....

Re: BuildTak, GeckoTek, ZebraPlate, FabLam, what are the cool kids using?

@crocky, is GekoTek textured? It has a coating on the build plate which does not be disturbed when you are printing to it, when the print is finished you just wait until it has cooled then you simply pull her of the build plate and if it is hard you can't remove the build plate off the magnetic bas...

Re: BuildTak, GeckoTek, ZebraPlate, FabLam, what are the cool kids using?

I use a GeckoTec and I could not be happier with it. The magnetic base plate is about 6 mm thick and the build plate is another mm in thickness, takes a little longer than the glass does to get up to temperature and a while longer to cool down but it is worth it. The link to Adafruit is for the 5 Volt Trinket... I have to find them local to me, not a pro or anything else in the name?

I have found one and will order it today... Gives me some time to get the hair dryer stand finished :)
