Repetier host not maintaining nozzle heat
ok this is new to me upgraded my firmware and host (repetier) and now the ramps 1.4 unit will not recognize will not maintain nozzle heat even though the host program states that the nozzle is heating -- only if I manually turn off heat and turn it back on will the heat fire up -- gets to heat then ...

That just happened to me as well and I guess I do not have to
include a picture as the original is exactly the same.
I found the web to be only about .4 mm. A drill depth change of
1 or 2 mm less would correct that issue.

thanks for the quick reply. z is calibrated -- That was the easiest to do and I have not seen a variance in tolerance since that was completed The platen has been replaced with 5/16 aluminum plate- checked for flat against a granite plate- though I have not yet indicated the mounted variance. As I am increasing my steps / mm to achieve an accurate size match, I get a coarser, gaped, bad corners, and pinched middle print. do I also increase ext to match via a greater mm/sec? actually, what other parameters are an integral part of the process along with the increase in steps/mm. fyi both a...

well darn. I melted my h1.1 bed and never got past 95c. Has anyone used aluminum or mdf for a bed? And is the glass above the heated bed or below

Is there firmware already installed on the ramps1.4 kit?
I assumed ( dangerous I know ) not and yet I get errors when
compiling the Repetier FW.. looking for a better source for firmware if
I must load one.

Since the hot end does not come apart on the H1-1 is the heat transferred through the high heat RTV or are the resistors still wrapped with aluminum foil?

Ok.. the drive pulleys ... pressed on or glued? If pressed, is there a possibility of damaging the motor internals?
