Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
Has anyone had success with the 1.0.4 html version? I keep trying and always get similar values which are wildly off. And now I'm put off by version 1.0.1 that was working because I can't have scaling issues. I don't know what else to try since the Steps per mm fields was the only thing left I had t...

Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
Thanks for the info. The first version of the html does not require changing endstop values and works as can be seen on the video. The latest version (1.0.4) does require changing the end stops and I did change them but it didn't work for me.

Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
Ok so now I've tried enough to feel confident in saying html version 1.04 is simply not working for me unless I'm supposed to know the motor step angle, driver micro stepping, belt pitch, and pulley tooth count. All which I have no frickin' idea. Can you please tell me what I'm supposed to use with ...

Has anyone received a “bad” PEI sheet?
I have a PEI sheet installed in my RMAX V2 at home and it works lovely. However I installed another sheet in the printer at my workplace, (same vendor), and the prints will just not stick. I mean they stick, but eventually become loose and fail. Gluestick on glass works good on this printer so I kno...

Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
Since this hasn't worked for you, and I don't have much information to really see what's wrong - the log in the auto calibration makes the process much easier - then I don't know exactly what to suggest at the moment. No prob. I’ll just print a modified version of the caliper holder to fit my calip...

Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
I tried the html version over the weekend and got nowhere. First issue was the Repable Electronic Caliper holder was super loose on my caliper. I had to shim and stuff it with a paper towel. Took me a good while to feel confident that there was no play and I was getting accurate readings. The upload...

Re: Is your ISP screwing you?
Our favorite quip was, "So, how's it feel to have your ass handed to you by an 11 year old girl?" :Dg. To be able to say that to an adult male, and have it be literal. Love it. Can't think of many other situations where this could apply. Reminds my of the best internet comment I've seen i...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts
So are you all in agreement with the OP’s assessment that fans negatively impacts layer adhesion? It does make sense. I ask because I’ve been considering purchasing two additional radial fans (the stock ones) to have three fans, one on each triangle corner of the effector. Is this a bad idea?

Re: Flashforge Creator Pro - very unplanned purchase
But how do you fix unsquare towers!? The frame is melamine and easy to break, all towers are coupled at the top so that pulling on one pulls on all the others. I even emailed the SeeMe folks and one of them confirmed all they do is slide the towers down the melamine and that’s it. No digital angle ...

Re: New Ball Cup arms available for Rostock MAX machines!
There has not been a preview posted here on the forum yet, the status is still considered to be in development. As PartDaddy said though, a lot of time has been spent speaking with customers, sifting through the forums, discussions within our team etc in the development of the design. With that sai...

Re: New Ball Cup arms available for Rostock MAX machines!
I'm just seeing this now and... wait...circuit board mount!? On the effector? I can't believe nobody's asked about that? So much news! So will these arms improve the ability of the printer to print near the edges of the print bed? That's kind of what I got from the OP, and that is my biggest...

Re: Flashforge Creator Pro - very unplanned purchase
Finally! I see a picture of someone using the entire bed! I had only seen one picture before this one and it was a seashell-shaped speaker housing. I like this one better since it is a square and it nearly touches the limits on all corners. This is exactly what I’ve been wanting to see. So apparentl...

Re: Flashforge Creator Pro - very unplanned purchase
Just got an absolutely incredible deal on this machine at $525. Is the deal still available? If you don't mind sharing where you purchased, I'm interested in buying a Pro as well. I always assumed he purchased it from someone slightly used. Someone maybe who thought 3D printing was just pressing a ...

Re: Flashforge Creator Pro - very unplanned purchase
Seriously considering offloading my Rostock Max V2 to buy one of these babies. I just was never able to use the whole print bed. Still drives me nuts. That has a 8.9 X 5.8 X 5.9 in build volume. Are you not able to match or exceed that with the Rostock? I very much doubt I can match it. And if I we...

Michael, thanks you for all the information you graciously share on these forums. I've seen this mention of polishing the nozzle on your guide as well. How do you do it? What tools/substances do you use to polish the outside of your nozzle?mhackney wrote: I polish my tips and even with that, there is sticking.
