Any chance you'd do that for the Panel Due 7i?

Anyone near Burbank? I’m needing some help
Had the printer working fine ( well it can always be improved) but now it’s not reading the calibration thump. I was on Duet 1.17 firmware and I’m thinking theynchanged something with 1.19
Can anyone help? I’m losing what little I have left of my mind on this
Thanks
Eric

Re: Effects of microstepping and segmentation on print qualty
Interesting. My steps per mm is actually set at 80.7. I calibrated that with a dial indicator (modified it until a Z axis move command equaled the change in reading on the dial). How did you come up with the 0.1618 layer height? I used to set my steps/mm according to what the caliper told me, but r...

Re: Trying a E3DV6 extruder
you can use the effector platform with the barbells and the fans. you will need to remove the HE280's print head and replace with the E3Dv6 you will also need hotend mount, and accelerometer board standoff you will need to desolder the board and swap in the new heater cartridge for the E3Dv6 and the...

Re: Optimum layer height vs Nozzle size
I'm wondering if there is a micro step/extrapolated layer height that is less desirable than say for lack of a better term prime height. Should all heights be divisible by our steeps per mm so as to be "native"?

Optimum layer height vs Nozzle size
I guessing there is a optimum Nozzle size to layer height vs steps per mm ratio. So how do we figure out?

I am using the trash80 interface and it works greatmhackney wrote:Also realize, I gave up on getting the accelerometer probe interfaced to the Duet. It was just not up to my reliability standards. You can give it a shot but perhaps trash80's version would be a better way to go.

Re: Black Filament from Hell
OK, this is getting annoying. Every other PLA filament color I have -- all apparently the same batch from the same manufacturer, print between reasonably to great. But my first spool of black PLA is possessed. Every time I try to print, it's OK for 3 or 4 layers, than I start to get stepper skips. ...

Where do you get the duet board? I'mlooking for something more affordable than the Rambo ($180). What other boards will work with the V3? Thanks and I look forward to hearing about your build! Re: mhackney's Real V3 Build Thread
I replaced it with either a TrickLaser platform or a 713Maker platform. However, there is a gent (Will Jayne) in the UK that has designed a new platform mount for the E3D this week. I have the STLs and it looks good. He'll be posting on TV soon. He posted some photos in the Facebook group. I'll pos...

Re: Duet Auto-Calibration results - More Data Needed!
So, the pattern I have, and see in all the other data contributed to me so far is this. After a full round of calibration, if you re-run the calibration script changing your S6 / S8 to an S-1, there is a wave pattern to the results. It measures higher at the towers, and lower opposite them. What I'...

try sending a M143 S350. that should set you max possible extruder temp to 350c follow it with a M500 to save it. then see if your extruder will go above 220c

Its really simple. You are going to need a new effector mount and a accelerometer mount several are available from 713maker.com Tricklaser.com or thingiverse http://713maker.com/mounts.html http://713maker.com/effector.html http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1776691 or http://www.tricklaser.com/Alumin...

Re: PT100 sensor for Duet WiFi
It seems as the E3D PT100 sensor & board are the most common and readily available combination. However, since the Duet Wifi uses it's own daughter card to interface to a PT100 sensor, there's no use in buying an E3D board. In the same vein, is there a recommendation for a non-E3D PT100 sensor?...

Re: Rostock Max v3 upgrading to e3d v6 hot end?
I plan on doing the same. It looks like all you need to do is find an innovative way to mount the accelerometer board onto the E3D V6. I do want to increase the temperature capability high enough to print Ultem material at 350C so I plan on converting the thermistor to a thermocouple. Anyone have a...
