So to make things way more interesting. I hooked up different motors to make sure they were spinning properly. Turns out all of my motors move when I hit the x, y, or z buttons on matter control. I have it so none of my wires are crossed or looped together, so no current could be induced in the ...

Stepper Motors
So I switched to an Azteeg X3 Pro I have my motors hooked up and everything. My motors seem to be moving in random directions. I do the M119 code and my endstops all work correctly. Anyone know why they would move like this?

Re: Rumba PROMBLEMS :(
Thank you Nylocke!!! I have them in correctly just another thing I can check off the possible problem list.
Does anyone know how much voltage should be going to the motors? I have less than 5 Vs I should have around twelve right?
I do have 12V going into my board I double checked....
Thank you,
Zig

So I'm upgrading to a rumba board for the diamond hotend. I have a Rostock max V2 and I"m wondering what the best firmware is to run this. Re: Rumba Board Issues
Update time. So I found the jumper for usb powered and it didn't turn on/ get detected. I'm not sure what to do, I set it back to power supplied and measured it with the volt meter. I have 12V coming in both the 5a and 11a terminal(yellow/black wires top left of picture) like it should have. I am ...

Rumba Board Issues
So I'm getting frustrated. I have been having issues with my max V2 lately. It wouldn't print it seemed like the nozzel kept getting clogged up. Long story short I ended up blowing a Nano2 fuse. I didn't have a replacement fuse, but I had just received in my new rumba board for my Diamond upgrade. I ...

Upgrades?
So I have the Diamond Hotend and I'm looking to do some upgrade as well. I see that seemecnc has Rostock MAX Ball-Cup Delta Arm kit. I would be interested in getting it if I didn't have to upgrade my cheapskates as well so are there any other options? I am also going to need more steppers what would ...

Re: Y tower not calibrating.
Ok. So it's still not working. Not sure what to try next. I tried to recalibrate it and no dice there(used the auto calibrate). Nothing jiggled when the motors locked. none of the cheapskates are to tight or to loose. They all slide very well, I looked at all of them to make sure the bearings didn't ...

Re: Curling on the left.
I figured out the problem. The nut that holds the extruder on cam loose causing my calibrations to be off. This is the nut that is right below the brass fitting that the bowden tubing goes into and right about the extruder spacer (just to be clear). Also I tried the super glue idea, its not horrible ...
KISSlicer
I downloaded Kisslicer and have been trying to familiarize myself with it. I have wanted a few videos read the setup ect. I'm rocking the Rostock Max V2. Re: Silicon Wafer board with copper plating..
I would think that with the copper coating that it wouldn't be that flimsy. Besides if it breaks on me its only $15 after shipping I'll just order a new one and use the glass. So I'm not to worried either way. I'll give you an update on its stability when I get it.

Re: Silicon Wafer board with copper plating..
I think that The wafer/Aluminum is a replacement for the glass. I believe you can still use the glass though but I don't know how much sense that would make. I purchased some PEI that I will be putting on top of my wafer board so I no longer have to use glue....

I bought a matter control tough with my max v2 Though I would use it, but I ended up setting my desktop us as a host computer for all my 3d printing needs.... I have all the cables and the box. Like I said never been used would like to get $250 but a reasonable offer will also work. Let me know.

Re: Curling on the left.
I was actually thinking about that but I was not sure what affect that would have... ( I didn't want it to stick to the glass.) I will try it today, I have a few hours before work so if it starts to fail like last time I will be able to stop it. Thank you for the suggestion. I will try this until my ...

Re: Curling on the left.
Hmm that is interesting I thought I had the problem solved last night so I set up a peace that is about 7 inches long about fairly slim, regardless to say after I got back from work my part was on the floor and a pile of plastic string was on my printer. I was running the bed at 98 and the hotend ...
