Re: Powering Raspberry Pi 2 with existing modular Power supply?

just saw this thread. If you have the stock RAMBo controller, I just found out that it has a 5v output that could be used to power a Raspberry Pi.

rostock max v2 with e3d cyclops - firmware troubles. repetier 0.91, RAMBo

Hey there, I recently re-wired my v2 for dual extrusion, upgraded the skates/arms/effector, and really would love to start printing again. However, I can't seem to get the hot end to heat up using repetier firmware. I had been using repetier 0.91 with the RAMBo with good results, but adding the 2nd ...

extruder steps per mm settings?

Hi there, I was looking through the KISSlicer docs last night, and while the docs showed a place in the extruder settings for mm/rev, it wasn't there in my settings (latest stable on the mac) is the documentation only for v1.5 and above? as I'm having issues getting enough material out on the first ...

Re: new San Francisco user

Wahoo! I started printing last week, had to do some serious modifications to the default slicing settings to keep overextrusion from causing lots of baubles. Not sure if it is normal to have to force it to retract if only .5mm of filament has been extruded, but that seemed to help a lot, much more t...

Re: new build, tower motors seem to be ignoring stop switche

after a more thorough search, I found this post: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=7558" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with the diagnostic suggestion of checking that the end stop switch actually controls the servo in that tower (I may have the tower servos...

new build, tower motors seem to be ignoring stop switches

Hi there, I just finished the physical build of a new rostock max v2, and have run in to an interesting problem with the stepper motors when I try to home the machine. I am using the stock firmware from the downloads section on seemecnc.com, and have only modified the settings for using the Automati...
