Re: LCD screen not coming up after successful flash
had the same problem with lcd on Marlin FW, but i do something like this using arduino 022 and changing pin file (exactly 022, not newer IDE) in arduino IDE when you open any file from the project for example configuration.h all the files will be loaded. And i don't know if this make a difference if...

Re: GabrielK's Rostock Max
instead of resistors can i dial down the maximum PWM
so for 12v full speed it will be 255
and for 5v full speed it will be 106
and then put it in configuration.h:

(I know it's not real 5v)/** PWM speed for the cooler fan. 0=off 255=full speed */

KISSlicer has Z-lift option in Material tab. You have to download beta from KISSlicer forum after you register, not from downloads on their site

Just wonder about stopping bug, so if I put my gcode on SDcard and run it from there it shouldn't stop since its related to USB connection. Is that correct?

After that i give a try with acethon vapor smoothing technique I read anout here: http://www.3ders.org/articles/20130226-smooth-surfaces-of-abs-3d-printed-parts-with-acetone-vapor.html It's not the safest thing to do in your bedroom. And I'm considered is this safe on Rostck MAX since you have molde...

Re: Mhackney's Rostock Max
That's odd on the starting gcode. I had changed that according to Polygonhell's post. Seems not to have stuck. I had G28; M190 S<BEDTEMP> M140 S<TEMP> M109 S<TEMP> I believe. The M190 I know. I corrected my GCode You give me great starting point for kisslicer, finally I was able of printing somethi...

Re: Mhackney's Rostock Max
Here's the gear bearing I just finished. This is the first time I've been able to print one that actually works (and well!). That's primarily thanks to KISS since it had a logical print path and I didn't need to use retract to minimize blobing. I have a little more work to do to reduce the little s...

Re: Cura alignment for Rostock
I think Polygonhell writes about that somewhere to set
Maximum width to 1
maximum depth to 1
maximum height to your measured height.
And i think after you load model you should reset your scale.
Maybe he can tell or correct me.

According to this http://reprap.org/mediawiki/images/7/75/Rambo1-1-schematic.png SDA is on Pin 20 SCL is on Pin 21 just like in Arduino Mega in the bottom right corner you have schematic of I2C I have 1.0 and i also have only spots for soldering. Just curious, what you want controll by it, and by wh...

So my repetier works great with the dev checkout at git and my LCD shows the different status pages, but - to be honest - i am rather disappointed ... how should these 3 pages allow me to print without a computer? Re: GabrielK's Rostock Max
There is no burnings, that is burned filament i assume, i think i don't have good seal between nozzle and bigger tube. From the bear print you can see separated layers, this means I'm printing to low? Is that correct? I remember that when i started machine for first time and i started heating nozzle...

i wouldn't try to start extruder without filament, because withouut it the component you put it inside (one with knurled roller) have to much play for my opinion, and can move sideways, up and down.

Re: z0 question
in configuration.h you can find something like this to slow down second move when homing. i change my factor to 16 // For higher precision you can reduce the speed for the second test on the endstop // during homing operation. The homing speed is divided by the value. 1 = same speed, 2 = half speed ...
