Re: Printer stop by half
Hello, I'm using MatterSlice. I did not scale in the slicer, I scaled the model with CAD software. It seems that the model can be printed out completely for the first time, and when I tried to print this model the second time with the same Gcode as the first one, the printing failed, printer stopped...

Printer stop by half
Recently I've been printing this model. DSC_0421.JPG It seems that sometimes the printer will stop running by itself halfway and I realized it always stops at the same point. DSC_0422.JPG DSC_0423.JPG By using the same sketch, the printing is able to complete for the first time, but failed on the se...

Re: MatterControl Crash
Wanted to copy files to SD card for printing. But SD card is write protected. For those who had this problem can follow this link http://www.hackerlint.com/remove-write- ... rd-solved/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to disable it.

Re: MatterControl Crash
I have some questions rgds printing over multiple days, how do we actually go about doing it? Do we pause the print and leave it until we start again the next day? Or we actually stop the print and continue from where we stop? I tried looking this up in the manual but could not find anything about i...

Re: Jerking motion (print head)
My non print speed is at 300mm/s. I will not change this since this is the default value, or should I change it depending on the prints that I doing?

Re: Hi from Malaysia
OK, but will not fix the layer fans, most likely will run only ABS material for now. I did not try to install it so I was not aware it was the wrong one. TQ

Re: MatterControl Crash
OK noted. Will run from SD card. What do you mean when you say inspect the G code before exporting to SD card, is it generating the layer views?

MatterControl Crash
MAtter Control suddenly crashed and shut down and printing stopped. :( :( :( 12hrs printing and print out is nice but it had to shut down. Some details/observations I like to share; 1. The print size is big actually; 1200 layers, expected print time 19hrs. 2. Hot end and hot bed temperature maintain...

Jerking motion (print head)
I noticed that during printing, the print head jerks at a faster pace when it reaches to the end of printing a particular layer. We can see the layer line in the MATTERCONTROL screen (bottom). Just before this line changes number, the head will run around at a much higher speed, and appears jerking ...

Re: Hi from Malaysia
It's 3 weeks already and finally the build is completed. Managed to print the peek and layer fan holders. Glitches along the way. 1. Inverted the top section base plate. Somehow I messed up the left and right. Power and end stop cables crossed. So had to do some re-routing of the cables to separate ...

Rostock MAX v2 - End stop wire path
I am now installing the top plate, and running the wires. I am confused with the below. Kindly help. 1. Fig 7-35 of the manual (pg 109) shows the end stop wire goes X and Y axes, & Z and Y axes. But the end stop wires are coming out of the X tower, so it should be Y and X axes & Z and X axes...

I cannot see the zip file to download. There are .mcx files (mastercam) that can be downloaded but unfortunately I can't open them. What can I do?
