I would say this is great. 0.01-0.03mm variation is from my understanding the accuracy you can expect. See in the data sheet of your gauge.raphaelm wrote: I'm missing some rigidity in my system tho as my measurements always fluctuate 0.01-0.03mm.
Has me wondering what's the cause.

Re: best source of high quality filament in NZ
Check out doodaddoes on youtube or mcslappy ? On this forum. I think he sells the stuff over there and seems to be an honest guy. I agree DooDasDoes is a good source in Australia. I got my Delta from him. I posted the link to avoid the oversee postage. Postage is expensive in Australia compare with...

Re: Rostock Max 2 Effector Plate Drwaing
Thank you for the file but I am looking for the old effector platform. What I really need is the distance of the three arms let say to the centre. I have in mind to make e sensor which is direct under the nozzle for the OpenDACT software. I would clip it on for the calibration, what normally isn't n...

Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
At this point it would seem like the z-probe option is not working very well (at least not for 2.05A) http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?p=78704#p78704" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; there have been quite a lot of reports of it crashing, including me I believe some pe...

Z-Sensor doesn't work
I changed the setting the Rostock software the the Z-probe is enable. The test with G31 shows open = L and close = H. If I run the calibration with Vers. 2.05A or 2.1.1PA the nozzle; crashed in the bed. I also tested with the pull up resistor and open = H and closed = L but still the same. The softw...

Re: Rostock Max V2 power off by itself
Sorry, for my late replay but I couldn't find the time to do something with the printer.
I did some printing and it was going through. It looks like the problem is solved.
Thank you for your support and the new PSU.

Suggestion for RMAX V3
I had some problem with the tube from the extruder that is pushed again one arm. I also read in the forum that some had a similar problem as well. To solve the problem I would feed the tube with the filament from the centre of the top plate. To get the movement done the extruder has to be mount up s...

Re: OpenDACT(Delta Automatic Calibration Tool) - For Repetie
I am on the way to test the calibration software and red mostly everything what is in this topic. In the meantime a lot! To use a switch for the hight I have to add some code to the RAMBO in Configuration.h. Because I didn't do this before I wold like to know where I should add it. Can I add it ever...

Re: Rostock Max V2 power off by itself
Thank all of you for your help. I will see if I get a new one or I have to buy it. I am waiting for an answer from my distributor.
I am not sure will the fans on the side walls help me if we get 40°C during summer. Maybe I give it a try and in worst case I have to change the PSU.

Re: Rostock Max V2 power off by itself
Ok. Than I should contact SeeMeCNC.
My work around is to remove the side walls and the acrylic.
I also thought about to make a hole in one ore both side walls and add fans but my test with the hair dryer didn't show in this direction.

The cable on the power switch are ok.
After the power turned off I checked power supply cable and every cable had 0V.

Rostock Max V2 power off by itself
I did assemble the Rostock following the instruction and everything went fine. I stated the first print, the PEEK fan shroud and it started as expected. I use Repetier-Host V1.5.6 and my computer is via USB cable connected with the Rostock. After some time the power went off. Nothing was running or ...

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware
[/quote] No, it is almost the opposite actually. He discussed using theoretical kinematics to find the cartesian coordinates - then later, using said information, shows the possible positional accuracy in all dimensions. My method uses the cartesian coordinates - really just the z height - to determ...

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware
Hi Rollie, First of all this is a great work and fantastic software. This is was I searched. I red most of the thread and got the paper from Steve Graves. I had only a short view on his equation but I will spend more time to understand what he did. Does your equation base on the same idea or did you...
