Re: Anyone switch to Matter Control 1.6?

I started using it the day it hit "ALPHA". I have 1.6.0.7828 and I like it over the previous version (1.5). Workflow is better and supports are better.

Re: PEI Print Surface How To - recap

I found a 13" wide roll of Kapton tape and have been using it with great success. I found this video on you-tube that shows the method I use to apply the tape. From start to finish it takes me about 10-15 minutes to coat my glass. I use a credit card to smooth out the air bubbles. http://www.yo...

Re: New prototype metal effector plates and new Cyclops and Chimera aluminum mounts

When do you think the cyclops mounts will be on your site? I would think by the end of the week. I have a few on hand and will be running more in the next few days. Code Monkey is waiting for the pics from the effectors we ran today to update the website with all the new stuff. So just a few days m...

Re: Geeetech Rostock 301

My daughter's husband has one. It is an older dual filament. In the pictures they do not show the power supply. In the old dual unit, it sat on the bench beside the printer. I am building a 6" high base to enclose the power supply. The printer had Marlin on it. I have put Repetier 0.92.9 on it ...

Re: FORUM UPDATE COMPLETE 04 22 2016

All of the old buttons (active topics, etc) still exist but are hidden behind one button press. Look for the "QUICK LINKS" in the top left corner and press that. It will bring up a menu with all the links. I see no way to delete posts made in error such as this one. I can edit it but there...

Actually, it is more of a question. I want to order a few more but the website shows " Out of stock". Do you have any right now? or is there a version 4 coming out?

Re: Cannot move object in MatterControl

In MatterControl select "settings" then select "output options".
In there you will find a setting "center on bed".
Remove the "x" from the box and save.

I just swap out the hot end and effector plate as a single unit. Very fast and easy to do with the new style arms with ball//cups.

Then why do SeeMe and most of the forumbrothers here advice a PSU around 30A?
12v x 30A = 360 watt
24v x 15A = 360 watt

I have been running 0.92.8 for about 2 weeks now. It was a bear to get going. The online config tool does not work correctly. It took some time and manual changes to the config file but I got it up and running. Here is my config file. ( I de-activated watchdog as I was having far to much trouble wit...

Re: Trick Laser Aluminum spreader having the opposite effect

Mine takes a bit longer to heat up also. I much prefer that to the un-even heat distribution that I had before. I have a PEI coating on my aluminum. I am printing PETG at 230 and the heat bed is set to 80 now. I have not had a single bed adhesion failure since I installed the disk. Before that I had...
