So I saw that you went live and have hit your funding. I was slammed at work and missed on the funding window, keep us posted on progress and let us know when the general purchase will be available. This is the exact kind of machine I am looking for.

What if you are using the Jet-insert? I see some bulbing at the end of my filament when I pull it out. I am thinking I don't have enough cooling in the cold end side. Anyone with the Jet-insert haveing heat creep issues?

I had a similar issue and had to reduce my fan speed, it was just too much air right on the bed for it to keep up.

Even through the bowden tube? I have not tried this, I assumed it would bind and jam in the bowden tube.
I have some items that would work well for this technique, I will have to get it a go and see how it does.

Maybe speak with a few reviewers and gain some outside opinion. I know it is not easy, but I am sure a few of the Youtube review guys would be interested at taking a look. Just don't try to buy a good review, almost never works.

Re: Pause and Color Change?
Yea, I am on a Stock Rambo board, and I am on version 0.92. I am trying to find a way to have a pause error happen and measure the height offset. Maybe I'll design a model with 1mm steps and see how far into a step the hot end is coming down by. Mhackney, how do you change color on the fly? Do you j...

Re: Auto-Calibration Issue - Y steps not updating
Is there some additional information I am failing to provide that may help me sort out the issue? I am using the latest version of Repitier from the SeeMeCNC Github, and I am totally baffled at what it could be. I am not really a programmer, so I am not sure if I could identify the issue if it is fi...

Pause and Color Change?
If you are printing from the SD card, is it possible to do a manual pause and color change?
I tried to use the pause from the SD menu, but when I restarted the machine crashed into the part, trying to resume a full mm down into the part it seemed. Is there a different way?

Re: PEI Print Surface How To - recap
I have to say you did a poor job of installing it then. We have the thin 3mil stuff and haven't had a single problem in the 6 months we've had it. Did you spray the glass and the adhesive side of the PEI with warm water with a tiny bit of dish washing soap, position then squeegee out the water? I d...

Re: PEI Print Surface How To - recap
I ordered a PEI sheet from CSHYDE and the adhesive "settled" under a print. There was enough movement that it allowed the PEI to flex to a point of sheering and pieces the size of my thumbnail started to tear off when I would remove them from the build plate. I ended up having to scrap tha...

Auto-Calibration Issue - Y steps not updating
So I just upgraded my heated bed, installed a ground flat aluminum heat spreader under my glass, and ran the auto calibration script. However on my first test print, at the Y tower the nozzle is nearly scraping the glass, the plastic was so thin I am pretty sure it did not actually extrude anything....

So a bit nervous to try this program without asking. Is OpenDACT compatible with the HE280 Accelerometer probe? I've searched but not seen anything definitive one way or another.

Re: unlevel bed
It should, I had bed issues and ran the 13 point and I can print most anything now, I don't notice any uneven printing issues.
I used a feeler gauge though, so I knew exactly what the gap was between the bed and the nozzle.

HE280 EZStruder Jam Session
I have recently upgraded my Rostock V2 Hotend to the HE280, it is a stock HE280 with the accl board and standard fans. I also have the EZStruder that is stock, with a heat sink planted on the back of it. I have been having issues with long prints and blobbing or trees. Also since starting with PLA a...

Re: The Prometheus System - Intuitive Multi-Filament 3D Printing!
Does anyone know if it is "easy" to have the hot-end change temperatures based on the filament being extruded? I.E. can I have a temperature for extruder 0 and a different temperature for extruder 1, and the hot-end adjusts as needed? I am thinking about this upgrade, but not all of the se...

Any reason the code freezes if the bed and HE are up to temp?
At temperature I have yet to have the code complete, it'll freeze then reset.
Anyone else see that?
