Re: v2 crashing into end stops when homing on fw update

So I got a lot closer today.

I've found that holding the endstops will not allow me to jog down, but I am still able to jog up. If I can just reverse this behavior I should be good to go. How does one change this in fw?

So close I can taste it.

v2 crashing into end stops when homing on fw update

Hey guys. I love my Rostock max V2 so much I picked up another used on craigslist. It was fully functional and I printed a few test prints with it, but featured the older u-joint style arms and had a little to much slop, so I upgraded to the new arms+carriages from the seemecnc shop, generally tight...

Re: Wont reach Nozzle Temp

I've just recently started playing with cura, and running into the same issue. I'm short 2-3 degrees, but only with cura. Whats the difference between MC autotune and PID auto tune? MC=mattercontrol? My printer eventually gets lucky and starts, but the extra half hour is annoying as hell. I like the...

Re: ABS-M30 stratasys through E3dv6?

I have a few aerospace clients that specifically call out ultem-9085, nylon something or other, and ABS-m30 on their drawings. It seems to be mostly the parts we used to machine from delrin- pads and covers and such. I'm just guessing here, but I expect the desirable properties have something to do ...

ABS-M30 stratasys through E3dv6?

Have any of you guys experimented with statasys ABS-m30 or m30i? Ah, the benefits of running the engineering R&D dept! I have been given some of this stuff to play with, and am looking for a starting point to start experimenting, or somebody to waive me off it. Any advise? Rostock Max v.2 e3dv6-...

Re: Branching? Oozing? Overextruding?

OK, I was on the fence until I saw the sexy anodize color choices AND cf spacers. The price is right. Multiple endorsements... whats another 35 bucks next to a three armed robot? Thanks for the link. Did you guys do standard or bowden lock ring? Has anybody fully printed a mount though? does this ca...

Re: Branching? Oozing? Overextruding?

OK! I've got my weird blobs and oozing squared, after another week of fooling with settings I set -1 mm on extra length on restart and that seemed to have done the trick. My E3D v6 all metal kit is here, I've just got settle on a mounting technique. There seems to be a host of options. Those of you ...

Re: Branching? Oozing? Overextruding?

Thanks for the fast reply guys! Yeah, that's a typo on the temps, 180 for the PLA. Hatchbox spool says temps from 220 to 180. I'm afraid to go any lower. I'll spin the ABS back up and start doing little roses for the lady. Thanks for the tip! I did the triangles figuring the distance between the pos...

Branching? Oozing? Overextruding?

WIN_20160207_16_01_39_Pro.jpg WIN_20160207_16_01_39_Pro.jpg So I've spent the past 2 weekends trying to calibrate my hot new Stock Rostock Max V.2 Everything is by the book stock, with the exception of the peek fan, it printed to big to fit, and a LED ring currently connects to its wires. I followe...
