Re: Boro Glass Build Plate vs FabLam Flex
Yes, PETG can bond too well to glass, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro3CdQQUiKo. When using glass beds, I print on ordinary float glass, not borosilicate. It costs much less and I can get my local glass supplier to cut pieces the right size for me. It's important to have the sharp edges ...

It sounds as though you haven't entered the details of your access point through YAT using the M587 command.

Re: Firmware error every time I start printing on the machine
Now the machine loads with a warning on the screen telling me that the heightmap was loaded before the z=0 datum, which was not determined during probing and might lead to an offset. That's a warning that you have loaded a height map but the Z=0 position has been determined from the endstop ...

You can set a static IP address using M587 if using a Duet WiFi, or M552 if using Duet Ethernet. But many people use an address reservation on the router instead.

Re: XY dimensions are incorrect
If the scaling is consistent, you can use a M579 command in config.g to correct for small scaling errors. To check the scaling is consistent, print a large noughts-and-crosses/tic-tak-toe pattern on the bed, and check that the lines are straight.

Re: Enable Auto-Sleep parks print head on part
Some delta printer owners use a retractor to apply enough upwards force on the effector or on the Bowden tube to prevent the effector dropping when the motors are turned off.

Re: V4 / Duet2 / KISSlicer / DUAL EXTRUSION Y-bowden FEED and RETRACT?
You can do the retract/load either in the slicer tool change scripts, or in the Duet tool change files. If you do it in the Duet tool change files, it should work for all slicers.

Re: Display Upgrade
See https://miscsolutions.wordpress.com/paneldue/. However, I suspect the load/unload commands are just macros, so I suggest you first compare the contents of the /macros folder on the SD card of your V3.2 with the same folder on your V4.

Re: Ghosting on vertical surfaces
Dynamic Acceleration Adjustment can help with ringing (the cause of ghosting) on some machines. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M593_Configure_Dynamic_Acceleration_Adjustment. There are also some threads about it on the Duet3D forum. But it's better to reduce ringing by mechanical ...

I don't know what PSUs SeeMeCNC supplies with the Artemis, but it it has a 115V/230V selector switch and your mains is 115V, check that the switch isn't set to 230V.

Re: Max v2 issue with peaks and valleys in bed map
Try moving to X0 Y0, then to X100 Y0, then measure the Z probe trigger height a few times. Then move to X<max> Y0, then X100 Y0, and re-measure the trigger height. That will show up the backlash.

Re: Max v2 issue with peaks and valleys in bed map
Ridges along the X axis that turn into valleys at the other end is a classic sign of backlash in the mechanics. They appear because RRF probes along the X axis in opposite directions in alternate passes. With backlash, the exact nozzle height at a particular point depends on the direction in which ...

I use a 330mm diameter x 5mm thick aluminium bed plate with a 300mm diameter AC mains heater on my delta, and that works well. So a 280mm diameter heater should work for you, as long as the bed plate is thick enough to spread the heat well. My delta uses a 24V 5A PSU. With the bed heater being AC ...

SMCNC sold out on DUETs so I shopped elsewhere. DUET connectors are warned against in V3.2 assembly walkthrough: When inserting the wires in the white Molex KK connectors, make sure you're using the connectors we sent you in the kit, NOT the ones included in the Duet box! I'm guessing this is ...

If you go with the Duet, you'll end up with a much better printer. That being said, I have no idea how you'd integrate a BL Touch with a Duet controller. Using BLTouch with Duet is covered in the wiki at https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_a_Z_probe#Section_BLTouch. However, on a delta I ...

Which main and WiFi firmwares are you running? 2.02 main and 1.23 WiFi are recommended. Main firmware 2.02 retries automatically if the WiFi connection is lost.
