Re: Sad day guys - Eaglezsoar has left us

Someone should print this thread and send it to the family. I spoke with his son on the phone last week and his wife via email, and gave them both links to this thread. His son mentioned he would probably be joining the forums after a while as he was really curious to pick up where carl left off wi...

Re: Delta Calibration Wizard now online

Is there something special that matter controller does or can I use octoprint instead? You sure can use octoprint/repetier-host/simplify/ANY host software that has a terminal window that you can read the output from the machine on. As @partdaddy said, we write our docs based on the software that is...

Delta Calibration Wizard now online

First off, a huge thanks to one of our members on the forums here DC42 for his work on the delta least squares calibration code. He's given us permission to modify and adapt his code to more easily implement it with our probe and firmware. We've modified his online calculator and it is now available...

Re: 20161123 dev firmware

G30 is very useful to set Z max height, I would suggest not deprecating it. Yes it is Michael. We won't be depreciating ANY of the individual M codes, in fact they will be made whole again if Ryan (pouncingiguana) hasn't already ;) You'll still be able to run them individually if you want/need to, ...

Re: 20161123 dev firmware

With my he280 upgraded Rostock Max V2 do I need to invert the Y motor like all previous versions? Also I have 300mm arms do I need to change anything for them? Derstig. See my previous post. Dev branch or unstable branch as well as non-OEM parts are in the 'blaze your own trail" category. You ...

Re: 20161123 dev firmware

Hey there Devdev, The dev and unstable branches should be considered for advanced users only. Both of those branches come with little to no official support yet, until those changes are commited to the 'master' branch. That said, if you're unsure of what values to enter in firmware files or not sure...

Re: Weekend plans

Hey Q, Yes, there's a resistor in that LED circuit already. Drop on an led and you're good to go! NOTED ON THE UNLABELED thermistor holes guys. We'll add that into the next rev of boards. Yes, there is a trace cut on the boards, near the center ring. It's intentional. That trace connects the hotend ...

Re: ERIS Early adopter feedback

Good feedback so far guys. Couple notes: ON the hotend temps. Yes, we've already documented the 220c being better on average than 215. It IS a metal hotend, even though it's lined with PTFE. All metal hotends with small heating blocks require a slightly higher temp for printing than comparable hoten...
