Why? Because these dudes need to make money and are probably pissed that the cheap Chinese junk is biting a hole in their wallet. They can throw the parts in a box, offer limited warranty and hide behind the " No phone support is available with any hacker series machine" so once the kit is...

Re: Adding servo issue
That can be caused by a voltage issue- see if you are getting even voltage. It may be fluctuation from the hotend and heated bed constantly changing their voltage demands.pswindler wrote: i am getting a bit of stationary jitter but that is probably due to the cheap servo?

You could try and put a "1" where the "0" is instead of true. Shouldn't make a diff but give it a go.

Re: Shorted fan wires then LCD blank and RAMBO won't connect.
Yes, you should buy a new Rambo. Or just replace the $1.00 fuse in the F3 position.https://www.seemecnc.com/collections/parts-accessories/products/5-amp-cermaic-fuse-for-rambo. I haven't used a Rambo in a long time but it is easily located. Do an image search. https://sc01.alicdn.com/kf/UT8PSKMXypbX...

It look like some play or looseness in the nozzle/effector. Is the nozzle loose? One of the belts loose?

Re: BuildTak, GeckoTek, ZebraPlate, FabLam, what are the cool kids using?
After hearing all the cool kids rave about PEI, I finally took the plunge and ordered at 12" kit through amazon. I literally just installed it this morning, and after getting z-height figured out, I'm running my first print on it. So far it seems to be a bit picky about first layer height, so ...

It's like a black hole for my budget, every time I decide to make some money, I do exactly the opposite like buying second Prusa or going to purchase 3D scanner now... Something wrong with me :) Haha, I agree. The title of this post should read " Do you SPEND significant money on 3D printing?

Re: Expecting **too** much from the Max V3?
"Core X-Y" has the best attributes of Cartesian and Delta printers IMO. I agree. My "other" Cartesian is a Core x-y but the Z moves up and down while the bed moves x-y. It only has a 150x150x200 build volume and is fun to watch. Really though, all 3D Printers are WAY cool so hav...

Re: Expecting to much from the Max V3?
My current printer moves the bed in just Z and look at the big difference in print area vs footprint on the desk. Rostock will take almost the same space on my desk but it has way more print area with the massive 40cm height. Flashforge: - Overall dimensions: 320 x 467 x 381 mm. - Build envelope: 2...
