SE300 / V3.2 100% Fan shutdown ideas?

Looking for some ideas on why when the tool fan/fan 0 goes to 100% causes the nozzle temp to drop off until there's a heater fault and the unit shuts off. Set tool fan for 50% (or anywhere around there) and no problem. Considered it could be a voltage problem, but Vin on the Duet control screen is a...

Re: v3.2 Stepper Motor upgrade?

When I updated my v3 to 3.2, I didn't change the motors. It's not a requirement, just a "nice to have". Keep in mind that if you don't change the stepper motors, you'll need to tweak the config.g file for the Duet to reflect the 80steps/mm that the old motors use. g. Thanks for the reply!...

v3.2 Stepper Motor upgrade?

Anyone upgrading from v3 to v3.2, did you change the stepper motors also? Reading through the instructions it describes both using the old and instructions if you replace them. Looks like the diff is 1.8 degrees vs .9 degrees, so worth changing that also if you're doing the rest? Thanks Gene & M...

Re: Rostock Max V3 Locked up?

Thanks Gentlemen, that was it!

Hotend connector worked loose on one end, enough to cause the lockup error. Will be printing the clip when I have more time tomorrow night...

Re: Rostock Max V3 Locked up?

Now understand, will check that in the morning when I'm back there. Saw that in the build notes thread a while ago (http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=11104) but didn't make the connection (no pun intended). Will see if that's the issue.

Re: Rostock Max V3 Locked up?

Check your wiring. :D g. Sorry I don't get that suggestion - it might change overnight? Guessing it has 20+ printing hours on it (who knows how much on-time) & the unit wasn't moved except removing the SD card to put another image on it (previous 7+ hour print was printed from the card). The la...

Rostock Max V3 Locked up?

Completed the build a few weeks ago & still learning how to really use it, had a long print last night & forgot to come back to turn everything off. Printed from SD card using the interface & wanted to do another different print today - but now it seems to be locked up? Only has the &quo...

Rostock Max V3 Kit Documentation

Idea: shouldn’t there be some sort of sticky thread in this forum or possibly in the Rostock Max Official Documents Forum also that links to the Rostock Max V3 documentation? Guess because I had seen the V2 & older document links in the forums I started looking here, but remembered something ab...
