Re: Momentary switch to longer action
I have moved to a second design for a couple of other printers, so, here are some pics of design 2. I printed at 0.45 layer height as I am impatient. Re: Momentary switch to longer action
OK, I was an idiot and the Ardurino board could do everything I was worried about. I ended up printing this: My design was to have portions glued down that I would then j...

Momentary switch to longer action
I have a Rostock Max 3, but, this is a question for my AON-M, which doesn't really have a forum. The Aon-M print box is 454 x 454 x 640mm build chamber, so, I am feeding it some big rolls. The stepper sits on top of the hot end and the PTFE tubes are exceedingly long because of it. I have a Push Pla...

Re: Greetings from the PNW
Welcome fellow PNW'ener! I have insulated my bed with foam and now doing the 24v to the bed. The bad part of the foam is that it is hard to keep cool enough for TPU to stick. I wish that I had just done the 24v, but, I can scrape the foam out

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
Well I gave up for a while as I just couldn't get a print that was level. New firmware, a couple of ferrite beads and new delta calibration and level isn't an issue anymore and now I can just get to the actual printing issues. If I try to print a vertical wall it will be shifted layer by layer to th...

Noircogi, stupid question, but, could you do a quick wiring diagram as I am not really sure how to wire up the Auber relay.

Re: Bed Heat
I am having similar issues. A short time after the fan activation, my bed temp drops to around 60°C. I am going to do this mod http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=10904 from the poster above and then insulate when it is apart

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
Not an electronics guy, but, I was wondering if anyone had tried just twisting the wires like a pair of wires in an ethernet cable. I was told they were twisted to block interference and it would be cheap insurance to add

Re: Z probe communication error
I did that immediately and still got the error, which is why I was going to switch to conductivity. Your point is valid though, so, maybe I need to forum search for strain relief

Z probe communication error
I have searched for this on the forums and haven't found an answer, so, if I am blind in both eyes, I apologize. Whenever I try one of the calibration scripts, v3probing or the one on the forums by the same name, I get a z-axis communications error. I get the error at the same juncture every time. I...

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
I was able to achieve 90° by loosening the lower Z and forcing the extrusion up a few millimeters and now I want to run a test, but, Octopi.local can't resolve today
Edit, as soon as I posted, it could resolve, ... more

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
OK, the most telling was the square with none of the extrusions being what I would call good. X and Y were not that far off, but, Z gapped a lot going up. I took all six covers off and all six extrusions were in fact seated on the stops. Is the only physical way to get to 90° to gap the extrusions t...

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
Can I assume that you mean you check the results given to the Eprom to see the height difference as opposed to actual measurement? My height micrometer isn't that high I am afraid

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
Interesting point as I was wondering the same when I built it. Did the shoulder shrug and moved on. I have all six on, but, they are fairly loose as I just was very uncomfortable placing torque on glass

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
OK, I was under a bad assumption with the screws, I thought they were software adjustments for height. When I set up the touch screws on the skates for the switches, I didn't find anything in the instructions about height. I placed mine at 11.5mm from the plastic surface behind the screws and made t...

Re: Am I getting tower lean?
I did run the script just before and should have mentioned that. I have had this issue since assembly and I started printing bigger. I do have a square that should work as a check As far as the model, you are correct, that would be a much better way to print around the issue. I just I am still spoil...

Am I getting tower lean?
New delta and home printer user here. I am trying to print an object that is out near the print limits. When I first tried, I got material floating in the air close to the edges and areas of no print. I found a discussion on belt tightness effecting lifting at the edges. Sure enough, a belt tighteni...
