Hello All,
I am planning on swapping the RAMBo board for a different board soon. I am also working with someone to make a new effector with a proximity probe. I am having some trouble converting the SeeMeCNC stock firmware to new [clean] marlin.
Can anyone gimme a hand?

Stepper Stuttering
Hello all, Today I turned on my printer to an odd problem. When I run G28/G29 and the printer is homing. it can sometimes do an odd mid movement stutter and it has even once rebooted the RAMBo during such an event. Anyone have any advice where I should start looking for the problem and what the prob...

Hello,
I wondered if its possible to do more points during calibration? E.G instead of only the 3 tower points it does 6 points

What about your extrusion multiplier?

Hello,
Just wanted to say this issue is closed and therefore this thread has ended. Backpressure issue was retraction speed and/or length.

Re: PETG (PET)
Hello guys, Has anyone tried printing PETG on a Rostock Max v3? I am trying to dail it in now and I have some issues. I managed to get the first layer to stick directly on glass and with some hairspray but notice that the second pass (layer 2) usually turns into a mess with stuff sticking to the noz...

Re: PETG Calibration
I use a 255C hot end for PETG but you may not want to do that depending on what hot end you're running. Hello there, Now that I got PLA printing nicely and got many prints done so far. I am back to fighting with PETG. Could you share your settings so I can use them as a guide to calibrate my filame...

Re: Feedback on print quality
Hello All, I'd love some feedback on this print. I am working to get the perfect PLA settings for my printer. I see defects on the side of the print and I need to find a way to make the supports easier to remove. They are too tight to the print. These three fan shrouds were printed together. The fan...

Re: Part fan modification for tight enclosure
Howdy!
I am busy printing these fan shrouds to focus the cooling so my smaller prints don't have a cooling issue anymore.
Would be better if it used radial fans for better air volume.

Re: PETG Calibration
Hello, Here is the test cube that I printed using KISSlicer. It has some weird artifacts on two of the four corners and the bottom layer looks bad due to not being primed enough. (the top of the image is actually the bottom layer) IMG_0004.JPG In the slicer I noticed that when I look at the layers. ...

Try youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVpzIj3G6ow Hello there, Just saw that video. Beat you to it. The thing that adds to the confusion for me is the terminology I am used to is not mentioned in KISSlicer. So it makes it a little hard to understand. I'll keep looking. Right now I am trying ...

Re: PETG Calibration
I can't tell if you are using MatteSlice or Cura, if MS switch to Cura. If Cura, seriously consider KISS. KISS has a "crossover" perimeter start/stop path that really cuts down on zits. It's the only slicer that does this. Hello, KISSslicer is confusing. I am currently playing with the se...

I tried playing with the temperature but that doesn't solve the zits/globbing.IMBoring25 wrote:I use a 255C hot end for PETG but you may not want to do that depending on what hot end you're running.

PETG Calibration
Hello All, I am trying to calibrate to print my several PETG rolls. However I have an issue I cannot with random globbing in and on my prints. The following are several attempted prints with slightly tweaked settings to see if the globbing would go away with no luck. IMG_0001.JPG Here are the settin...

Re: Rostock V3 Bed issue
What exactly do you do with the points that are pulled from the bedfile generator? Mr. Hackney could you please explain what we need to do with the points generated? What you do is you would edit the file that describes the bed probing points (bed.g on the duet). These points are inserted as differ...

Re: Backpressure Issue
Slow down, be consistent and work through everything carefully. Others will jump in to help and I will as well but you've got to get on the right track asap! I still suspect an issue with inserting the Bowden in the hot end. Something you are doing or did in the build is not quite right. Hello, Fir...

I think you are all over the map. What would possess you to run PLA at 250°C??? We had things working perfectly on Saturday and then you immediately changed everything and failed. Re: Backpressure Issue
I don't recommend switching filament. I am now doing the 100mm Extrusion test. @250C I can extrude 100mm without skipping. (I am aware 250C is extremely hot. no PLA should be that hot. But it was where I started) @200C it skips. it does not extrude the 100mm cleanly. I did the same test with a seco...

Re: Backpressure Issue
There could've been a small piece of debris in the filament or maybe a little shard of metal from the hot end or extruder. I've found a few weird things in filament. Re: Backpressure Issue
Nozzles can be defective or clogged with debris. Can you check with the nozzle installed again now? Hello, So I reattached the 0.5mm Nozzle and pushed filament manually through the bowden tube out the nozzle. It requires a good amount of force. As a comparison I replaced the nozzle with a 0.4mm Noz...
