Re: Zesty Nimble on 713Maker Mount NinjaFlex First Print

@Ramai, I hope you have checked out the documentation site we have for the Nimble?

http://zestytechnology.readthedocs.io

We spoke on the chat channel, so I think you have the settings sorted now, yes?

Re: Hectic! But nice.

Loving the dinos, but then I said that already. Nice to see Ninjaflex being printed. it was one of the reasons I really wanted a direct drive extruder. Regarding the breech block, we are looking into it, but our production versions have no issues, so it is hard to determine if there is a problem or ...

Exactly! It is the engineered future surface that I want!
But then, I have always wanted to live in the future. Even though it is no longer what it used to be.

MRRF and the Nimble

Hello good printing people, You now have an even better excuse to go visit the MRRF. (as if you needed one) Besides meeting Michael Hackney, you will also be able to see the Nimble in action. He is demonstrating the first production Nimble in existence. We are even considering a discount for the sho...

Re: Delta Movement Test?

Why do you need customizer options to set the max diameter. That can be done on the slicer surely? That is where I do it, if I want to play with sizes. For instance, I have a solid cylinder 100 mm by 100 mm tall. And I print that in vase mode, full mode, scaled to 330 diameter or 400 tall if I want ...

Re: LokBuild - wow

Hi Joe,
Have you used it with anything else but PLA yet?

I really was hoping it would be as close to the perfect print surface as can be, but I am hearing mixed opinions about it.

Re: Piezo disk bed leveling

Well, we published the design now. It is on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2117069 In fact we published it with 3 different effectors so you can pick and choose what works for you. DJDemonD has used this latest version and is very happy with it. So it is tested. [img]http://i.imgur.com/pFR9qNi.png...

Good point Qdeathstar! Thanks.
It seems I have not yet added a mount plate for the Chimera on our Thingiverse page.

So I have added it. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2115133

My apologies.

Re: Hectic! But nice.

I saw those aluminium mounts, they look so good. I want! To be honest, I think it is going to be quite a challenge to make a Nimble fit on those mounts. And for sure to make it look as good as these mounts do. Especially because normally the Nimble sits below the plane of the top of the Hot end. In ...

Re: Hectic! But nice.

I saw, thanks Pilot! We are quite happy with the initial pick up. Now comes the hard slog designing all the adaptors everybody wants. For instance, working on a Diamond effector for the Rostock with integrated Nimbles. We promised we would design em, so we are designing em. Sorry about the self asse...

Re: Hectic! But nice.

Hey guys, Nice comments! Love the look of those dinosaurs. The Nimble body parts are all made with SLS printing, nylon12. Nice and strong stuff. We just received the production tests of all the metal parts, like the bracket, coupling and the hobbed wheel. It is all looking pretty good. But the wait ...

Re: Direct Drive E3D Titan?

If you have the parts, why not try it? Just a matter of printing an adapter to hold the Titan and give it a go. I would reduce your acceleration and jerk values. It would be very interesting to see what the results of the combination is, in print speed and quality. But of course I am biased, you sho...

Oh and think about Nimble V2. Incubate 30 duck eggs. Rebuild the dressing room. Finally clean out and tidy my workshop. Hop...

Re: Heat set inserts for plastic

You could mount a heat block to a nice shaft, clamp it in a drill chuck of a drill press and then you know the inserts will always be perfectly vertical. And you have better temp control than with a soldering iron

Now that would be a great trick.

Lovely tree, I see what you mean that 1 layer is not enough, but to me it adds a bit of charm. 2 layers might make it too dark?
