Re: SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON
Anyone know if this is compatible with 24V power supply system? I'm planning to do a full 24V upgrade with the MeanWell SP-750-24 with E3D V6 24V hotend and I couldn't find specifics.

I know Ultibots sell the corner pieces and extrusion pieces for a Kossel but as far as a premade kit unfortunately no.

Re: Help fixing lines on print sides
start with the basics. - is your printer stock or modified? - check belts are not too loose/tight - are you using the stock carriages or other carriages such as trick laser trucks? - during prints, are your temps for hotend and/or bed fluctuating? - what brand filament are you using and at what temp...

Re: Berd Air Max v2 Motor Running Hot
I recently changed the tubing to use 4.5 ID flex tubing from an aquarium store and a 5mm aluminum pipe from hobby stores. The motor runs cooler (before the white plastic housing was too hot to touch, now it is cool to the touch but the metal housing is still slightly hot) but the reason the motor is...

Trick Laser CF arms
I am selling my Trick Laser CF arms with red ball cup ends and springs (standard length 300.15mm). Still in great condition, no defects. I will be upgrading to custom lengths so these will collect dust. Asking $50+shipping. Will post pics after work.

Re: New Rostock Max V3! Let the Calibrations Begin
I personally wouldn't recommend doing that mainly because if you ever have to adjust/modify/replace the tube it is a real pain. Mine is ziptied every 5 inches and never had it come out of the housing. If yours keeps coming out, maybe you need to replace the locking piece as it may be worn, or the tu...

Re: New Rostock Max V3! Let the Calibrations Begin
I was in your boat and I had to jump into buying upgrades. Depending on your budget this may or may not be a route for you but in my experience it is definitely worth it. I spend less time calibrating and dealing with frustrations and I am more confident in printing with little to no errors. Please ...

Re: oozing / stringing trouble RmaxV3+E3Dv6
Try Kisslicer 1.6. Try out the profile Printer wizard for the Extruder option. MHackney made a tutorial for the new release
That looks like artifacting. Its looks like every couple of layer heights it resets so look into tightening all your belts (possibly calibrating for fine tuning steps)

After you do delta cal, do g29 and try again. If it's still bad I would suspect extruder needs calibration or endstops

On the Duet Wifi Diagram, you have the Hotend Pos/Neg going to E1 on the Duet board, that should be to E0.

Re: SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON
I was brainstorming for the longest time trying to think of how I was going to quick swap hotend setups with the accelerometer board with 713maker mount while trying to access the Bowden fitting to secure it. This takes care of both clean and Bowden access.

Re: Bed Callibration issue
When I was using Octoprint, I only did G29 and Delta Cal Wizard, but still used Octoprint web interface. Also try using just three alternating bed clamps to avoid inducing more warping in between axis. Those pics seem like it was too close rather than up in the air.

Re: Proto-Pasta HTPLA settings
I used matte black HTPLA from ProtoPasta and I had great results with a few strings but the finish is outstanding. I did use temps of 215 first layer then 210 the rest of the print, bed at 70, 25mm print speed, 4mm prime/suck at 25/50mm/s with 5mm wipe and Jump 0 Trigger 2 in Kisslicer. I heat treat...

Re: Bed leveling and calibration. Very frustrated.
I was bored this weekend and I actually just redid my endstops to be within 4mm finally. I had my endstops fully in at first but what I ended up doing was unscrew it halfway so I have room to add or subtract thread length, recal to set the endstops, and adjust from there. Only work one axis at a tim...

Re: Firmware/GCODE/Commands
Do you have a Rambo or Duet? (Mine is Duet) It is wired to be always on when the unit is on. You would have to bypass the board and wire directly from controller board PWM fan header to the hotend fan. Then you can control the hotend fan using FAN 0/1/etc depending on which fan you use. As far as Ra...

Re: Changing the Hot End?
I just got my Volcano and waiting on the 713Maker mount. Do I need to do another PID tuning and other cals (besides bed height adjust) since I already have an E3D V6 hotend or is it plug and play?

Re: v3 Calibration issue
Maybe your endstop screws are too high or uneven, try screwing them all down so they are all the same level and try again. Are you using most current firmware? I think there was something buggy with the recent one so try the previous file.

Being able to "hot swap" (haha get it...hotend...) is awesome, definitely brings the excitement to 3D printing from printing detailed items to rapid prototyping just as fast as changing filaments!

Re: Changing the Hot End?
I am worried jumping from Accelerometer board to YJ on a Duet controller may cause issues when switching back and forth. I know I am not using the i2c now that I have FSR probing in place, but in your expertise would I require any tweaking when I swap back and forth with these boards or are they pas...

Re: PEI disaster
One tip I learned from mhackney was to sharpen and bevel the spatula tip so it essentially it is razor thin. all you need is the proper angle to get a tiny portion underneath the print but not dig into the pei surface, then you can level the spatula and slide it underneath the rest of the print easi...
