Re: Zesty Nimble

Give it a shot and let us know how you like it! Sounds like it could be awesome. Don't forget that if you haven't already purchased the parts, these awesome folks have roped Project R3D into offering a kit now! Also, I imagine most folks working on these outfits are going to be heading over to the n...

Re: State of the Printer

I saw that Tony Akens got in on the E3D Tool Changer Q&A live stream. Looks like the RailCore III may be ready by the time I have scraped together the funds to start my build!

Re: RailCoreII FAQ

I added the links to the 300 ZLT Fusion 360 model and BOM on the new Wiki. https://railcore.org/doku.php?id=:en:start Too bad than most of the action has moved to the facebook group. I guess I will have to learn how to book face. :( Just as an aside, the more I think about it, the more I think it wo...

Re: How to Rebuild Linear Rails

I am curious, has anyone tried to build with misumi rails? Are they decent? Would they cost less, or more than Hiwin?
I do not have facebook, so I have not been able to follow the saga there.

You are awesome. Looks like this thing is really shaping up! Make sure to take lots of notes at MRRF for those of us who can not make it.... ;)

Re: 3 Stepper Z Leveling (NOT just calibration!)

My printer has no method to manually level anything. It levels itself, and very well. https://imgur.com/xUhAayR That is really quite impressive. Once the files are posted for the 300mm zl version, I will be one of the first to start working on it. Sadly, the rate at which I work on things, you will...

Re: 3 Stepper Z Leveling (NOT just calibration!)

Do you think that with the 3-Z-stepper leveling, the manual bed-leveling screws are even a necessary design feature any more? (BTW, I've been poking through your Fusion files, they've been a huge help for a novice trying to figure out how the pieces fit together, so thanks a ton for making them ava...

Could you put up links to the Fusion360 projects for all four versions?

Re: 3 Stepper Z Leveling (NOT just calibration!)

I am stupidly excited about the possibility of building one of these with the 300mm build plate! Should be a bit of a step up from my poor little Monoprice Maker Select (Wanhao Duplicator I3).

Have you found any difficulty keeping all of the motor synchronized?
