CNC machined ball joints
having an issue where the ball joints that came with mine are sticking and causing my print to not print properly. Was wondering if there is a benefit to upgrading the plastic ones to the metal ones? the plastic ones i have are out of round and the arms wont pedulum when released from horizontal. Ha...

ah, yes, forgot to mention. I have used Cura, the newest updated version as well as repetier host. both had the same issue. in the pictures, the one on the left is Cura, the right is Repetier

Hi all, have a Rostock Max V2 with ballcup arm and carriage upgrade. Have been dealing with a printing issue that causes the wall and infill not to connect.Have already calibrated level and H. radius as well as stiffening of the hot end/platform. Have also tried changing the arm length in the EEPROM...

have you checked whether something might be dragging? i see you have new carriages but maybe the pulleys at top and bottom could be dragging some? it could even be that one of your stepper motors may be having an issue? another thing is whether your set screws on on your "stepper motor belt whe...
