Re: Auto Level - Auto Calibration Talk

Why not clamp a dial indicator to the hot end assy and set the appropriate Z depth to account for it and run a 10 inch diameter circle path as well as a 4 inch diameter circle path to check for table radii warping!!!

Re: Getting Nylon to stick to the bed.

I talked to Taulman and they told me to try this: Elmers white glue spread on 80C bed and then drop to 50C to print. Keep it at 50C while printing then jump back up to 80 to 90C to release part when done printing. (note: not the school elmers but the white glue by Elmers) Spread a very thin layer of...

Re: MY FIRST SEEME CNC COFFEE CUP

I didn't really make it to drink from, just experimenting with "ABS" and it does have one spot where it leaks because I made it as light as possible and used minute infill and no layer base. There was one spot where I had it to hot on the bottom curve where the plastic burnt and that is wh...

Re: the best software to design 3d print

Has anyone tried Rhino 5 ? I was looking at it and it seems like it may be better than the others it even repairs STL files. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bezdc2XjEV4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfFjumHO1CE&feature=player_detailpage&qu...

Re: Is extruder ABS dust normal?

I run ABS at 235 1st layer and 225 thereafter using kapton with acetone/slurry mis painted on and have not problems. No bed heat for 1st layer and then 60c for remainder of the part. I am having problems with the fill around hole circles having gaps in them. The infill leaves the gap holes around th...

Re: Hot End Issues, not heating up now

I found that its best to go ahead and order 5 of the 10amp little fuses to avoid having to solder on the aq board. I put one in at the beginning of Sept and have not had another problem.

Re: Deleting old files

I should have explained what I am looking for more thoroughly. When you select configure in Slic34 you are presented with a new window under Printer settings. After you select the disk to save your new settings you are presented with a list of old files or a history of file that you have worked with...

Re: EZextruder stepper still slipping!

I never had any tu humping with either PLA or ABS until I got T-Glase from SeeMeCnc now it sounds like a machine gun. Threading the T-Glase the extruder was also more difficult than usual and was very tight and the filament is not consistently round.

Deleting old files

I have an accumulation of old files in the slicer of Repetier Host. Does anyone know how to get rid of them permanently. I am talking about the list that comes up when you are configuring to rename and save new setting under new file name.

Thank you jmick

Re: Newest Cura Release

You mentioned backing down the speed with Repetier Host. Are you running RH and Cura 13.07 at the same time, or just controlling the speed with RH while Cura runs the Gcode? Not sure whether you meant you somehow replaced Slice 3r with cura or the latter. Blender 2.66a Also I put a web site under Bl...

Re: Newest Cura Release

I tried it but can't get it to start, so I must need to alter the Gcode start and end I think. Nothing happened after the print command.
