Re: SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON

Never put tinned wires in a spring connector. It really wasn't hard to open the spring release Spring cage connections work well with tinned wires, unlike screw terminals, these connectors are designed for both solid, and stranded wires. Use a push pin to open the spring works best. You can push it...

Re: SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON

Excuse the ignorance on the abbreviations SCL, SDA, INT? On an I2C bus, you have the Clock line (SCL) and the Data Line (SDA). INT is Initialize. Those 3 pins are only used on the Probe board from SeeMe, so if you are using your own hotend without the probe board, those 3 pins are open. Close. You ...

Re: SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON

I ordered one. How about offering the connector for the 3 pin as well to make it simpler. Thanks for mentioning that! I'll have to update the description. The 3 pin connector comes with it. :D The reason the 8 pin connector does not is because if you have a V3, you already have the correct connecto...

SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON

In the beginning..... There was a rats nest of wires, twisted, soldered and tapped. Then came the Yellow Jacket Quick change hot-end plate.... and it was good. Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts

Great - thank you so much! While we're at it - does your 8-pin wiring become loose/unplugged through every day printing? Happened to me last night, caused an 8+ hour print to fail. Thinking of wrapping it in kapton tape.. You could replace the OEM connector with this one that latches for a more sec...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts

Kits are back in stock too, but going fast.!! How loud is the pump compared to the standard 25mm blower cooling fan? It is louder, but considering I'm usually not in the same room while running a print - I can hardly tell the difference  Mounting it with a rubber insulator helps considerably.

Installed my BerdAir system - and for the most-part, really liking it. I have, however run into a problem where burrs left over from the hole drilling process is preventing even cooling all the way around the ring. It's kind of disappointing that this was not done during a QC check by Yellow Jacket...
