and yes it still turns on the inside not smooth enough yet to blow on it to get it to spin but by hand the spiral will turn.

nope the free version, it really works backwards of what you think it should. open the file in netfabb, on the right side you will see a X Y Z with sliders with a title of Cuts. with this file i wanted to slice it on the Z so you grab the slider and start to move it and a cutting plane will show up ...

yes this is out of ABS. not much post processing other than removing the bottom support and trimming it flush, other than that it prints very good. the center support for the snowflake had problem with it sticking to the bed so I chopped a little off the bottom in netfabb to have more to stick to th...

The ends are a plastic. But you can unscrew them from the aluminum insert. use a some other threaded bolt to screw in to the aluminum insert.n heat carefully while pulling the insert out.

Not sure what plastic the ends are made out of the Acetone might melt the ends or effect the ball joint.

626pilot. If you heat the ends slowly and carefully you should be able to un-bond the ends and try again. Go slow with pliers to pull the end apart as hyou slowly heat the end.
