Re: Unsolved Mystery. Weird Z0 behavior around build perimet
Hey guys, Could something like each tower's depth into the base of the printer affect calibration? The towers I recieved looked like they had been filed down on the sides to ease their insertion into the body of the printer. The screw head that stops the towers is hitting the tower on this rounded e...

Re: Brim Offset - or - WTF
Are your motors missing steps? Is it always offset in the same direction? Make sure your controller is getting good airflow, if it overheats you'll miss steps.

Good thread. If anyone is wanting to make this for the v2, I've modified the files to work here: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php ... =25#p52124" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Printer Shifting by half a cm around the 50th layer
If you're using Cura, make sure you don't have any malfunctioning plugins. I had one that after 5cm height was moving the nozzle off the bed. Took me way too long to figure out what was happening.

This is where I saw the resistance message: http://seemecnc.com/products/24-volt-onyx-r3-heated-bed" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It looks like it might be a special case though since the traces are larger than normal. 12 gauge wire to hook the 24 volts to the heat bed eno...

Re: Onyx Rev 2 24 V question
Maybe I misread it. If you apply 24v @ 20 amps to the bed will it be too much power? I got this PSU http://www.ebay.com/itm/161457595622" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and this SSR http://www.ebay.com/itm/400732633009" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;...

Onyx Rev 2 24 V question
I got a mean well 24v psu, a crydom ssr and a 12v converter to power the rambo. I've read that extra resistance is required between the ssr and the onyx bed. I wasn't sure how much I should add for the Rev 2, everything I've read is for later version boards.

It mounts using the normal effector platform that comes with the v2 kit:

Re: Alternative Heated Enclosure for Rostock MAX
I took the top and bottom mounts and altered them a bit to work on the rostock max v2. I added some spaces where screw heads are and made the top fit nicely over the top of the tower.

Re: Wiring Rambo Rostock - latest
You have the peek fan that blows air on the hot end, a layer fan for blowing on the part being printed, and the power going to the hot end. When trying to fish wires, try taking one of the larger wires, solder the other wire to that, feed the large wire through (very easy) then pull the rest of the ...

Re: Bottom base not level
It actually looks like the Z arm isn't perpendicular to the bed, the top of the tower needs to lean in to make the square touch the far side of the bed. How do we tweak the angle of the towers?

Yes that's the melamine the hot bed sits on. I've tried loosening some of the screws any propping sides up. Some success but not sure if I'm doing something wrong in the first place lol.

I took my heat bed off today and measured the bed with a framing square. It seems the end opposite my Y tower is sagging a bit: I believe this is what is causing my printer to not be able to print in this area, it's ...

Re: Communicating with another Arduino over i2c
I'm mainly a web developer with C# skills, writing my own methods for this is a bit over my head. I am trying to reuse the code already in the project. The i2cWrite method only takes in chars, so I was trying to get everything that way. I looked at the i2cWrite method, I can't fine where the variabl...
