It's 90mm/s, you can watch the video I posted to see / hear what they're like. I've not used PEI to know if it would damage that surface or not. It's a pretty solid hit, though.

Did you get the wiring sorted? Since I'm not using the entire hotend assembly, I only have the 5 wires required for the accelerometer connected.

Here's a pic of it above my E3D v6, when I had my extruder in a "flying" config - I've since switched away from that, but haven't changed how I mount the probe. Just a cheap nylon spacer to provide some clearance for my hotend wires.
