Pimp My Printer
Hey MTV! I'm Caleb, and this, is my printer. Step inside and take a look! I added some LED strip segments to R2 (my ORION). Four, to be exact. Two pointed toward the print bed, and two underneath the belt assemblies just because why not. They're all hooked up to one switch, and wired to a Molex conn...

Jurassic World trailer this week, Star Wars EVII trailer by the end of the year, and the Eris in January?
I'm going to need to ask for extra pants and underwear for Christmas. I'll be soiling my current ones for three solid months.

Re: Hotend not reaching temperature
If your hot end isn't getting all the way up to the 220-225 range, you may have a heating resistor that's blown out.
Check the resistance of each resistor separately and make sure they're still functioning properly...
Make sure you do this with the printer turned off, and tell us your findings

Back off man, I'm a scientist.
So I ran across this on Thingiverse and just couldn't pass up printing one. My goal, however, was to make it even MORE screen accurate than the one that was already made on the website (aside from scale, obviously lol). You guys know how I work. Screen accuracy is always my goal with props, no matte...

Re: My LED Ring Upgrade
I like it! The only problems I see with it are making sure the light clips don't extend farther than the nozzle. I'm sure they don't but I can't tell from the pictures if they do or not. If they do I'm sure you already found that out, lol. Also, the ring is really wide. It seems like if you ever wan...

R2-OD *beep-boo-beep!*
Sooooo I bought my white ORION because of the white parts and blue acrylic looking very reminiscent of R2-D2. I have an ever growing collection of artoos, and have always really wanted ad parts to my printer to make it look more like it belonged on the table it's used on. Ladies and gentleman, I giv...

This ended up not working very well for me...
I could have made it work with a little mroe effort but I just ended up going with Guanu's method.
Nice part design though! Keep up the good work!

Re: What?! I can't hear you!
The inner command strip doesn't need to be removed. If you want to remove the hook all you have to do is peel the hook off, leaving the outer half of the commend strip on the wall, pull the adhesive tab off the wall, and attach a new half command strip to the hook half to attach it to the wall again...

What?! I can't hear you!
Hey there. It's me again... So I wanted a way to mount my headphones on the side of my desk without drilling holes. I didn't like any of the hooks I found on the file share websites so I designed my own. As always, this was printed in PLA with my ORION. BOOM! [img]http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/...

May this lead you through the Darkness...
Hey there printers and printettes! (<-I made it up and thought it was cleaver, leave me alone...) I recently started playing the game Destiny, and let me say, it is fantastic. I stumbled across this thing and decided to give it a whirl. it's a model of the Ghost companion that follows you around and...
