M251 S2 bugfix
John, is the auto-level code you're porting in one of your github repos? I've also spent quite a bit of time around AVRs and have been digging through both the Marlin and Repetier code bases to consider adding a couple new features. Maybe I can help here, too. Edit: For those experiencing the non-up...

Re: New drama
I haven't noticed speed related issues. To that, I have mag arms which should have all but eliminated joint resistance/friction. If I lightly touch my dial indicator to the surface and issue a G2 or G3 command at 100mm radius I can watch the change. F100 or F2000+ provides the same results. I should...

Re: New drama
Well...maybe I scared everyone off  After going through the Delta forums at RepRap.org I found some insightful comments for calibrating the delta platform with regards to the auto-leveling routine. After a short bit of adjusting the tower positions (I had to move the X and Z towers toward the c...

You can see this when you level by hand, the limit switches probably aren't repeatable to better than 0.05mm, so you work ...

Re: New drama
Since this thread seems to describe the same issue that I am experiencing (XYZ posts and Center are all level, effector raises at FLR - see attachment image or link), I'm going to jump in to the discussion. I've had this issue since my machine was first operational (purchased beginning of June), and...

Re: EZ Probe Attachment for Rostock MAX
They make a T Nut for that series of extrusion that goes in from the front, they have rubber "handles" on them so you can hold on to them while inserting into the slot. I'll second that. They're usually called "push-in" or "drop-in." I work with t-slot a good deal in t...

Just a simple introduction
Hello everyone! I purchased my MAX in the beginning of June and have been logging a lot of hours. My online nature is that of a lurker and observer, so you can be quite sure that over these past couple of months I have come to know several of you pretty well even though you don't know me  I...
