Yes, for blomker.com. But Kossel Mini is sold elsewhere as a kit like the Prusa i3.

Re: Folgertech Kossel 2020

If anyone is considering getting a Kossel 2020, I recommend getting a Kossel Mini instead.

The price is about the same and about 1/3 of the pieces are better.

My FolgerTech Kossel 2020 came in on Feb 6, 2015. I started assembling it. If anyone else is doing the same thing, you can communicate via this thread or #folgertech on irc.freenode.net.

Vinyl cutting

I printed a holder for a vinyl cutter blade. It can be used with the Rostock Max to cut out stickers. This is the blade: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200918963815" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Surprisingly, it just fits in a standard groove mount. Photos: http://imgur.com/a/Xt...

The waves might not be the arms. They could be rounding artifacts on the Arduino's lower res chip.

Re: Setting up auto bed tramming leveling tilt compensation

It doesn't work with PEI or a glass bed on top of the heated bed. The sensor needs to be really close 1 or 2mm.

Setting up auto bed tramming leveling tilt compensation

Has anyone set up auto bed tramming (leveling) using an inductive sensor?

I bought the sensor and will probably try to get it working on 12v. Then try to get it working with Smoothie 3d printer firmware.

Nice. The video only plays with Adblock disabled. Maybe someone can mirror it somewhere?

Ugh, muting the advertisement makes it impossible to listen to the video audio.

PLA smells better melted and is biodegradable. I'm using the original side mounted geared extruder which provides more force than the EZ struder.

Failed skate bearing, squeaky tower

The Z-tower on my Rostock Max was making an annoying squeak noise. I tried adjusting the tension on cheap skate but that didn't help. The bearing was easily removed by unscrewing one screw. After removing the bearing holder, the bearing made a grinding noise when moved. I had a spare from inline ska...
