Max for sale at MRRF
Max for sale at MRRF
Details:
Rostock max v1, purchased April 2013, fully assembled.
Upgrades
EZ struder with top loaded filament (it originally came with Steve’s)
ED3V6 hot end (I will also include the original stock hot end)
Trick Laser Arms
Trick Laser Trick Trucks
Other stuff
A second glass build plate
Full color print out of the assembly manual.
Asking $899
Known issues
My printed ED3v6 mount isn’t the stiffest; one might want to print a new one.
Heated bed is crowned. I haven’t tried the suggestions posted on the forums on flattening it so it might be fixable. I have dealt with it with shims.
On my last print for the 3d class I taught at my daughter’s school I rushed it and didn’t have my retract setting right so it got a jam. I haven’t had time to clear it out yet and probably won’t before the weekend.

I'll bring it, I'm just not planning on putting a for sale sign on it.bvandiepenbos wrote:If you are attending MRRF why not bring it along?

I will be at MRRF and would like to take a look at this machine.

Great, I would love to meet you in person (regardless of whether you buy the printer).Eaglezsoar wrote:I will be at MRRF and would like to take a look at this machine.
I will have that cells bowl with me so you know who I am (the trick trucks will be a bit of an identifier too).

Viewed a photo of your printer and see this.
What happened to the wheels, "white flakes" on the edges?
What's this?

Don't know what is is exactly, but I get the same "lint" on my aluminum Cartesian printer with delrin wheels. I use my thumbnail to scrape them clean periodically and move on...
It does not appear to be a wear item at this point with about 500 hours of print time on it.
