Aluminum Rostock For Sale

Post by JonsGarage »

Unfortunately I need to sell this. It's built out of 1/4" aluminum so it is probably the strongest and most rigid Rostock around.

Includes LCD controller not yet installed.

I'm asking 1300. I'm located in Tampa, FL but willing to work with shipping.

hmmm...is everthing that normally would have been mdf now aluminum? Are there any exceptions and if so, what are they? Also, does it include a glass build surface or have you been printing directly onto the aluminum?

Yes everything that would normally be mdf is aluminum. The one exception is the extruder mounting plate is stainless steel. You can see it in the 3rd picture. I only have the aluminum build plate which is 1/8" thick 5052.

That mounting plate has got to be heavy if you've made it from steel. Awesome job though. It would look cool anodized in a bright color. :)

I'm selling because I need money.

I understand you're hesitant. I'll be honest I have had issues. I believe I had the "delta arm blues". In my opinion the arms are the first thing that should be upgraded so I don't count it as a huge issue. Everything else works as it should.
