Does bed heat on first power up?

The first time that you turn on power before any firmware is installed, does the bed heat? Just wondering if this is normal, or a problem.
MAX V3 and Robo 3D R1 Plus
Simplify 3D Software is my choice.

No, it should not heat up until you tell it to either by running a print or entering a bed temperature in the controller. If it is heating as soon as you turn the bed on, you have a wiring or other problem.
