Rostock max V3 carriage upgrade
Rostock max V3 carriage upgrade
Does anyone know if there is an avilable metal upgrade for the carriages, similar to the tricklaser ones? TrickLaser appears to be out of buisness.

713maker.com may have something, but with the injection molded carriages, you really don't need the metal ones. Those were originally designed to replace the melamine 5 wheel carriages that the v1 had.

Re: Rostock max V3 carriage upgrade
I was recently looking myself and didn't come across any. Like Geneb said, however, they probably aren't needed. The extra strength and rigidity of the metal over the injection molds isn't necessary since the main forces are so close to the guide rails. Any wiggle is more likely to come from the bearings/arms and the injection molded set acts like a splash guard that can help prevent grit/grime buildup on those joints.
